Seems like originally Sarri's plan was Kovacic to be more attacking, Kante to be closer to Jorginho. But then Kante's output in offense (Assist, goals, pass) is all better than Kovacic and Barkley, so Sarri had to play Kante more box to box and advance role.

Anxious to see how Lamps will set up against Utd in our first league game. Double pivot of Kante + Kovacic? Or midfield trio?

I still believe Bakayoko is a very good box to box player. Perhaps Lamps can get him involve with a 3 man MF.

Miazga confirmed loaned to Reading. Not sure why he fancies a loan there, should've try for a PL club or abroad. If he continue getting loaned to lower leagues, thats it for him. I still have good memory of this guy. Rmb he played quite well when required.

Rmb Lamps played Christensen + Zouma partnership against Gladbach? That first half when Gladbach play high pressing, it actually shows the short coming of this partnership, both can't pass quick and good enough, can't play the long ping up top.

also apparently Lamps requested Luiz to train separately due to disruptive influence. And also with Tomori still not going on loan yet. I believe there is a high chance that Luiz is indeed pushing for a move, Lamps notice that, dealing with that. But club might accept any bid. With the fact that he could've gone on a free, but he signed extension, so now club can get some $$ from selling him. I believe Club's decision could be selling him.

I'm not that convinced with Tomori yet. And I believe we still need Luiz.

Rudiger have the most experience now at CB
Zouma had a very good season at Everton, iinm, he had the most interception and also cleared header for them last season.
Christensen only featured in FA cups and UEFA cups last season, but he did play well when required.
Tomori unproven in PL. Can't judge yet.

Rudiger still injured right? So it's gotta be Zouma + Christensen vs Utd.

Actually i was thinking why not convert Azpi into CB, he was quite solid in a back 3 under Conte. Once Reece James back from injury, can consider that. Azpi + Rudi in CB.

Imagine a CB pairing of Mustafi and Luiz. With Xhaka playing in front of them.

I see Luiz's move as a betrayal too. But not as worse as Courtois' case. Courtois didn even travel to preseason. Luiz's situation is more like, stars align, it's good for Me myself only, so I move.

1) He cant accept the fact that he needs to compete for a spot. Every players is on a clean slate under Lamps
2) He got a restaurant business in London to run
3) He capitalize on the situation where Arsenal needs a CB urgently with the sale of Kosc.
4) He didn even think of the consequences to play for our rival
5) He just signed a 2 year contract. His ego so big that he cant compete for a spot? He think he is untouchable ke???

that is Luiz's fault.

For our club, it's a crime to sell for 8M. 8M barely enough to cover agent fees. Should at least squeeze 20M from Arsenal. Or last minute sell to another league and troll Arsenal.

Our high pressing is a liability. A quick pass or a good pass from McGuire will straight away bypass all our fw and mf. Lamps need to adapt and not press too high up.

We miss Kante that will put a foot in to a tackle. Jorg tackle is too last minute.
