Recall the payment and billing from MO and reclaim the same from them by showing the latest billing from PTG.

Same issue

My situation is that I've got a strata title transfer ongoing in 2020, the ownership is still with the developer as I can see from the PTG Selangor online. However, when I check the bill for 2021, it said I have a tunggakan in 2020 and i was also charged interest on the tunggakan.

Isnt that the developer should pay for the cukai petak in 2020? Well I never received any bill on the cukai petak and the developer never informed me on the cukai as well ....

On top of that, I have already paid for quit rent charged by management office in 2020 though.

Any advice on this?

If indeed PTG did not issue the bill then what MO is collecting and paying for? Asking for waiver for sure will be hard but if can gather more residents and better still local assemblyman

Thanks.

Acc to MO, PTG Selangor should be issuing the bill to all owners directly and they have no access to that. I think the PTG Selangor did not issue the bill last year (could be due to MCO etc). Because all of other owners did not receive the bill as well. Shouldnt PTG Selangor be waiving the interest for late payment charges? I found out that other owners tried to fight with PTG but don think they were successful.... Well it's not our problem if we never receive the bill ...

If others have attempted and failed to obtain the waiver guess life have to move on

MO has refunded me the quit rent i paid directly to them for 2020, so thats fine for now.

But on the other hand, i was charged parcel rent by land office, of which i was not made aware of nor i have received the bill. According to the MO, land office used to issue the quit rent to them directly and they charged us as part of management fee bill. But in 2020 strate title was issued and hence parcel rent was charged by land office directly to the owners of unit, eliminating quit rent charged to the MO. So i should have received the bill. But the fact is i never did nor i was made aware of this at all. It was only recently i found out that i have outstanding payment from last year, and a late payment interest charges as well. How could land office be charging late payment interest when i hav never received any bill? Apparently other unit owners tried to argue with the land office on this but were not successful.
