QUOTE(Kopistall @ Jan 2 2023, 04:32 AM) I used to contribute rm1k per month voluntarily. But recently has stopped doing so. This year looking for better options besides epf. After bitcoin Ethereum dunno where or what better to invest in. FD interest is too low & slow. Nothing beats epf asb and tabung haji.

QUOTE(MUM @ Jan 6 2023, 07:19 AM) Just a note, Many had mentioned, since it is after 1st of the month, ....then no need to be in a hurry to make self contribution as the dividend given earned will be the same today or till end the month. Noted, only for my own discipline before spending money on an unwanted item LOL. So we can still contribute right, if we want to?

QUOTE(CommodoreAmiga @ Jan 6 2023, 07:30 AM) Put in KDI Save for 2 wks, earn 3.5% interest. Then withdraw and dump into EPF. Give 2-3 days time frame for withdrawal from KDI Save, then about 5 working days before end of the month to dump in EPF so that it's reflected before the end of the month. I am not sure if you dump in day last day of the month to EPF, it will only appear the following month, but will the transaction be counted as previous month? KDI Save 2 weeks earn interest ? Seriously ? you done it ? For how long ?

QUOTE(CommodoreAmiga @ Jan 6 2023, 07:55 AM) Why not? It's a daily compoubding interest basis thing. Last year I have dump in significant amount on standby, only moved out when the FD went up to 4% and more. One day also can. But of course, one day no point lah. KDI Save is legit financial company by Kenanga. Money is yours....not a hamster game playing fake coin in TriumpFx where your money can't be withdraw. But if you apply KDI Save now maybe need 5 -7 days? I can't remember. So maybe a bit late. But you can open an account to prepare for next time. As temporary storage with higher interest than most savings/current account. versa also similar now I'm confused LOL. Also thanks for the heads up bro. God bless

Question: Can we self-adjust employee contributions from 11% to say 20% or 30% while the employer retains 13% (force saving for the employee)?

QUOTE(MUM @ Feb 25 2023, 01:04 PM) Just do What ever makes you more satisfied.... You had already saved 60k for this year, ... spend some to satisfied your achievement for having saved 60k. Whatever balance save again into kwsp when they "approved" that extra 40k. Your ps5 and iPhone would not cost 20k. Your interest in ps5 and the joy & satisfaction of having played with it....priceless.... as you may not have that kind of joy playing with it later in life. Thanks bro but pushing to 50 so better start saving now. Enough lah enjoy enjoy enjoy (ref to myself lol). Its time to sakit now for a better future
