QUOTE(magika @ Mar 23 2022, 03:41 PM) Maybank can do it in 1 shot. Been doing it for years Okay thanks. Too bad I already closed my Maybank accounts. Anyway, I tested with Public Bank and found that there is no option to save the EPF account as favourite. Have to double-triple check the correct details again everytime

QUOTE(ericthai @ Apr 6 2022, 12:30 PM) Does anybody know how to increase the 5000 transaction limit? Is it 5000 per day or per transaction? How many days will it take to credit my EPF account? Use the new maybank2u interface, can do it in one shot. Few forumers shared this at previous pages.

QUOTE(ericthai @ Apr 6 2022, 01:27 PM) Can't find the page, I went through so many pages. Is there a limit to set first? Can't help here as not using maybank. Maybe others can chip in.

QUOTE(ericthai @ Apr 6 2022, 01:31 PM) Is there a maximum imposed by EPF for rm 5000 per day? I am not talking about the transfer limit for Maybank2u Many years ago, I tried to pay via cash and EPF said there is a maximum, not sure about now. I already mentioned that can do one shot with maybank2u. EPF does not limit it per day. Limit is 60k per year. This post has been edited by Human Nature: Apr 6 2022, 01:36 PM

QUOTE(ericthai @ Apr 7 2022, 09:54 AM) Most of us new members don't have time to read through 40 pages of posts just to find a single info. We always assume that it should start from day of deposit like all banks. What about withdrawal? If we withdraw on 29 of the month (end of month), do we lose 1 month interest too? https://www.kwsp.gov.my/ms/dividend#FrequentlyAskedQuestionFAQ No 6.

QUOTE(guy3288 @ Apr 26 2022, 05:11 PM) i think mostly date captured next day.. unusual, there must be a reason.. done at bank counter, first time doing the transaction,or what...?? From climbclicks, not the first time. Maybe because dividend was annouced on the same date. Most 1-2 days, just that one anomaly.

QUOTE(Twinkle@Babe @ May 29 2022, 02:48 PM) Hi, do I need to wait until 55 years old to withdraw the epf self-contribution? Will the self-contribution amount get the same KWSP announced interest rate? Self-contributed amount is treated the same way as the normal contributed amount.

QUOTE(romuluz777 @ Jan 31 2023, 10:25 PM) Also, withdrawal from Acct 2 upon reaching age 50. This is new to me, missed this despite reading through the EPF website. QUOTE You can only make a one-time partial withdrawal of all or part of your savings in Account 2 when you reach age 50 to help you take the necessary steps in planning for retirement.

QUOTE(watabakiu @ Feb 14 2023, 09:25 AM) For self-contribution, right... would the withdrawal rules applies the same as those 'forced' contributions? Like have to wait until retirement etc QUOTE(ronnie @ Feb 14 2023, 09:27 AM) I believe so... the withdrawal rule is the same because the money goes to Account 1 (or does it split ?) Follow same rules. Split the same ratio too.

This whole page has nothing to do with EPF self contribution. Go here for Opening a Bank Account in Singapore https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1440794
