We are Liverpool. We always do it the hard way 😂
But VVD was really massive this game. |

Rafa is still special to Liverpool. And he is so unfortunate to work under bad leadership at so many clubs.
Us under Tom and Jerry, Chelsea when Roman was sacking for fun, Newcastle under Mike Ashley, even Real Madrid wasn't that good when he went. Hope he stays in Newcastle, and they get the ownership sorted out. |

Is astonishing that Robbo and TAA have more assists than Sane and Sterling. Hopefully they will be here for many years to come and steer clear of injuries.

QUOTE(Lionel90 @ May 5 2019, 02:02 PM) Yes, more like he was hoping that the def would backpass and he could intercept it. Not sure if it's an instruction from Klopp or really his style, because remember the goal he scored against Arsenal at home last season, when he nicked the ball from Bellerin's head. I think is his style. The one with Bellerin was an exception. I guess he no confident to hold a high ball up. If played to feet he can hold up well with close control. |

The last time the title was decided on the last day, Cardiff was holding City until the 90th minute. I think Cardiff was already relegated at that time.
That's why last night's win is so crucial, because it ensures that the race will go to the last day. Anything can happen, City might get a red card? Brighton might play like Barca since safety is secured? We don't know! |

QUOTE(Lionel90 @ May 6 2019, 11:09 AM) I believe it's QPR and the "Agueroooo" moment that you referred to? If my memory serves me right, they weren't mathematically safe at kick-off, but 1 point was sufficient. A Bolton win would have relegated them; Bolton drew and their match finished slightly earlier, then 2 stoppage time goals turned the table. Yes my bad. QPR it was. I won't count Brighton out, since they just held Arsenal to a draw, but it's really just extremely optimistic to think they can get a result against MC. And we would have our own plates full with Wolves visiting Anfield. Brighton held Arsenal at the Emirates. Possibly match City at their home? Point is, no matter the result tonight, it has been a long time since we entered final matchday with a chance. |

dont give up yet. for all of City's "dominance", they have scrapped through 1-0 against Leicester, Burnley, Spurs in 3 of their last 4 league games (the other was a 2-0 win against the hopeless team)
Maybe Brighton can do something in their final home game.As I said earlier anything can happen, a mistimed tackle leading to red, hitting the woodwork 3 times, goalkeeper plays the match of his life, just dont give up yet. that said, is there any viewing party that you guys know this Sunday? |

QUOTE(koolspyda @ May 7 2019, 07:34 AM) Vs Brighton. Who has a abysmal results against top teams. I am just saying don't give up hope. If we give up hope, then why don't we just ask the FA to give out the trophy this morning?Only 6% chance of getting a result (draw) versus man city. I’m not pessimistic. I’m a realist, I’ve already said we surpassed our target matching city all the way. Gaining over 90points. It’s been a good run. Withthe current squad, yes we can keep the momentum towards top finishers in the league. The only next step I feel is for Liverpool reinforcement (again) for that final push. If we really want to nick city or the likes of Barcelona next season is to have game changer players. Nope as much I believe in miracles, the league, the level of the game has moved so high up, getting another ‘robertson’ kind of bargain value and expect him to turn world class? Anyway. Let’s have a great game versus Barcelona, I expect us to win, but to expect to over turn with a 4-0 Barcelona with goat Messi & explayers (magician & the gregarious Suarez) who can really thrive playing in anfield. I would just hope we perform well to show we can do better next season. I do hope we can mount, overturn the deficit You know if we are 2-0 up this Sunday and it's 0-0 at Brighton at half time, Pep is going to shit bricks. That is what we have to do, to keep our side of the bargain, and let destiny do it's course. Agree on the recruitment front. We need another #9, and a creative playmaker like Coutinho type. And possibly a long term partner for VVD since Gomez is quite injury prone. Not to forget backup for Robbo. |

I see Brewster and Woodburn on the bench. Reminds me of Sinama Pongolle and Neil Nellie. We know what they did as subs in 2005 😁
