To be honest, I don't know why Klopp is tinkering for this match.
We have better chance of beating Barca and Ajax than Man City slipping up against Leicester and Brighton.

If Bobby wasn't fit enough to start the match or play more than 30mins, just leave him on the bench and bring Origi or Shaq. If 1-0 I can understand but at 2-0, we just need to prevent this turning into 3 or 4.

Mane first half, Salah second half saved by Ter Stegen and hit the post. Milner shooting straight in 2nd half.
Could've been so much different if we had taken our chance.
Klopp playing Gini was element of surprise, but if the surprise isn't surprising then change it at half time, move him deeper and Henderson higher up. Or sub him off for Firmino.
Maybe he planned to do that earlier but Keita injury used up 1 sub quota.

I watched the match and very often Gini was the furthest forward when Barca defenders and keeper had the ball. But after reading the match report, he was played at the tip of midfield diamond and tasked with harassing the opposition (I wouldn't call it "pressing" cos he was running around like a headless chicken most of the time). When we had the ball, Mane and Salah was furthest forward.
So I like to give the benefit of doubt to Klopp, after all it wasn't his fault that we conceded the 3 goals, and he wasn't the reason Milner (twice) Salah (twice) and Mane didn't score from good positions.
End of the day, it was all about clinical finishing and thank God for Dembele it is not 4-0. At least glimmer of hope for 2nd leg. If we can score 3 times in 45 mins against the mighty Milan team of 2005, let's have faith that we can do so against Barca in 90 mins.
On to Newcastle and I hope Ox, Shaq allowed to play some part in getting the win we need while keeping legs fresh for 2nd leg.

We didn't take our chances when City had more games than us. Now we have 2 games more than City and it showed up our squad depth.
The depth is there in midfield, but not at #9.

Anyone noticed the style of Salah when the ball played over the top... He doesn't attack it but he starts running and hope the defender misses it.
Always also like that. And the defenders 9/10 won't miss.
