What is the name of statement (PDF file) generated by IBKR, that shows the amount of dividends gained?
*
Login to client portal. Go report.
Go to activity.
You can generate daily, monthly, annual or custom. It will be web based (html) with option to generate PDF.

Does it happen to you guys that the dividend (partial payment is in the mode of stocks) and IBKR gave you more stocks than you should get and deduct $ from your account?

It's like forcing me to buy the said stock lol.

Always cash for default options if you did not select anything.

Hi. I noticed Captrader charges inactive fee of USD 1 per month.
"Every client with equity below 1,000 USD generates at least 1 USD in commissions each month or will be assessed the difference."

Does this mean I must have at least USD 1000 balance? Can anyone clarify?
*
You need to have USD1k worth of cash or stock.

Supposedly commission-free. The fees appears to be mostly in the forex bits only

The Forex is buying US stocks or cause send money from Malaysia to trading 212?

But the currency of my overseas currency is all in GBP. Takde Euros tho. You mean I should deposit EUR into Trading212 and then buy the GBP denominated ETFs or stocks?
*
Try deposit in GBP and see.

Main point is use trading212 to do conversion for you. Don't use banks.

Done so rd. Monzo seems to have the best Forex rates coz it doesn't charge bank rates like credit cards. But their fee is built into the spread

Use revolut.

Cannot. But if you have Monzo means you have some UK/EU ID/pass which means you can apply.

Bigpay/instarem/moneymatch -> monzo -> trading212. Monzo should be in GBP.

Hi Alex, thanks a lot! So no difference in term of fee as well right for both?

If you are planning on doing index, buy the best. ARKK/W with CXSE.

Thanks for the suggestion. Notice the expense ratio relatively higher than that of CSPX though. Am currently heavily invested in SAMY. Looking for DIY ETF investment with lower fee.
*
How much your s&p500 can give? Average 8%.
Arkk/arkw is about 30-50% a year.
The increase in expense ratio is worth it.
If you want to do DIY, get rid of stashaway. Don't keep both.

Ark is an ETF. You can pick arkk or arkw. Pick whichever you you want. S&P500 is old school business.

Interested that you mention ARK, saw it mentioned a few times on reddit.

Anyways, I am currently investing through IBKR/TSG UCITS etfs. Any disadvantages in directly buying this NYSE ETF?

I'm aware of the higher dividend withholding tax, but any issues in funding in USD to buy them as well?
*
Ark doesn't even pay doc dividend cause majority of the companies inside ark are not making money.

Something to think about. tongue.gif

*
Don't bother about investing until you can get min RM8k. You want to minimize your commission.
