My gf and I bought a house with bank loan and S&P under both of our names. This is my 1st property, while it's 2nd property for my gf.
We would like to withdraw money from account 2. Can both of us withdraw the money provided my gf didnt withdraw any epf account 2 money during 1st property purchase? Both properties has her name in the S&P and bank loan.
Also, the EPF will directly bank in to my own personal account or bank loan account?

QUOTE(asellerrs @ Feb 24 2019, 06:32 PM) and EPF will directly bank in to your account.. this is for 10% downpayment right? Yes. Is there any due date to utilize this withdrawal from S&P signing date?

QUOTE(static_365 @ Apr 10 2019, 12:07 PM) Thank for the effort but i already google it before i ask here still i'm blur hahaha. Never mind i already get the answer from someone else. Make a copy (or 2) on all the documents you have. S&P, bank loan agreement, borang with a stamp (forgot the name), IC... Just bring all documents there incase need to photocopy there.

QUOTE(OKLY @ Apr 14 2019, 05:48 PM) Is it also applicable if I take the first home loan scheme offered by banks whereby they give 100% financing? in your case, max withdrawal is 10% only i think

QUOTE(Achilles84 @ Apr 19 2019, 06:01 PM) hi , I'm not sure i can ask here or not so please bear with me . i buying a studio and the studio price is 255k , have a discount of -10% and then another -5% so will be about 218k , i have make a deposit of 2k only , and now is waiting for loan to approve . my question is that if it approve can i withdraw epf money from account 2 ? Yes provided this is your first EPF withdrawal for property. If you withdraw once already, you have to sell the previous property before eligible for another withdrawal.

QUOTE(Achilles84 @ Apr 20 2019, 11:53 PM) yes , this is the first time i withdraw also is my first house also , but i don't really understand how it works , i saw at the kwsp website showing can Withdrawal to Purchase a House but it also show can only withdraw for dawnpayment so are Withdrawal to Purchase a House and Withdrawal for downpayment the same thing ? Whsat I know is, you can withdraw max 20% of your house value from EPF 2nd account if you borrow 90% loan, or 10% of house value if borrow 100% loan. As to how you gonna use the money after withdrawal (into your bank account), is up to you.

QUOTE(life27 @ Apr 29 2019, 05:46 PM) Which area and which property you r buying ? Mind to share to me too ? And how your progress of withdrawal from kwsp ? Manage to withdraw everything ? Yes. Managed to withdraw all from account 2. Make sure you bring all the documents there, there is a photocopy shop incase you forgot to photocopy some documents. The application process and money transfer is fast, really efficient.

QUOTE(ZeneticX @ Oct 2 2020, 04:18 PM) another question is it compulsory I must withdraw full amount of my Account 2, or can I specify an amount? Any amount up to 20% of your house value if not mistaken.
