try asking your CIMB why u cant use? i use citibank credit card is possible.

I'm using CIMB myself. Sometimes is SE who black list our card for whatever reason. But best to check with the bank see if any transaction are blocked. If they're not just send an email to SE customer services. Ask them to white list your card. They usually will ask a prove that you're the card owner.

I'm definitely getting the expansion. Just out of curiousity, how many gigabytes will Shadowbringers take? Just a rough estimate.

Hi, I used to try this game on steam. Before I seriously wanna start, I have a few questions..

1) Malaysian play in which server
2) Server lag issue, serious or not?
3) For monthly sub, can use credit card auto renew?
4) No malaysia SE account, which region should i register?

1.Mostly Tonberry (Sub is Kujata from what i heard) But tonberry is now congested meaning you cant create any new character untill further notice.
2.Lag? Not really Im using Unifi 500mbps and my ping is around 120ms ish.
3.Yes you can use credit card to auto sub.
4.Recommend EU to start since becaue of the currency/pricing its much cheaper than NA/USD. Keep in mind you might wan to start over. Since the steam version is completely diffrent from NA/EU.

Due to the high amount of players coming back for shadowbringer. It tend to happen once a while. Usually it takes 1-3 months for them to reoprn the server.

you can play in another preferred world 1st and enjoy the "Road to 70" exp buff..any character which is below lvl 70 (lvl 1~69) can get 100% extra exp from quest / fate / map exploration / monster kills & etc
and whenever Tonberry is not congested anymore, you can pay a transfer fee and move to Tonberry..

even so, you can have a friend to visit your world or you visiting other's worlds..just that some features off limits to cross-world gameplay..
i have a friend who is in Tonberry, often visit me in Ramuh to help me in the game as i've just started playing 2 weeks ago..

I noticed I do not need to farm or do side quests....even with main story quest, I have been overlevel a bit...now level 30+ but story main quest only 20+

Its normal for early levels once you reach lvl 50+ it will slow down for a bit. Remember to do your daily roulette for extra exp as well.

A few questions that i hope some can help clarify.

1. My old account is in PC platform under NA. Can i use it back to play in PS4 platform? Or i need create new account.

2. For PS4 platform, i saw physical games sold at all R2. Means i need to have a PSN NA/EU account which my current active SEA PSN cannot play?

3. For PS4 players, will it be disadvantaged compared to PC players.

4. I saw FFXIV monthly 60 days card for NA is cheaper compared to EU. I read some old posts that saying EU is cheaper. Anyone can confirm this.

5. Will there be any help for new players? if i need start new account and imagine the hassle of going thru all the raids and all again.

1.You need to rebuy a PS4 license for it. There's no need to create a new account for it.

2.That im not sure about it. Might need to ask the people who uses ps4 platform.

3.No its the same you can use keyboard and mouse as well. I have few friends who use ps4 to paly as well. Even clear savage.

4.Use credit/debit card it will be cheaper than buying a timecard for NA/EU.

I have an EU acc with 2 extra retainers. Paying RM60-66 per month (Sometimes the currency exchange is different). If no retainers should be around RM50 more or less.

I remember i used to use VPN service to reduce the ping.

I'm playing on Tonberry atm(Tonberry is locked for new characters). Can consider Kujata/Garuda since world visit is a thing now. You can transfer to tonberry once is the server is uncongested. (Yes you need to pay a fee for it).

Unifi 500mbps is the pack im using rn. Ping is aroun 90-130ms. Still can play stuff regulary and dodging stuff. There's really no need for a VPN unless you really going ham on getting the best preformances out of it.

There's no need to start fresh for any reason. Every character can play all the class/job in 1 go.

Now that's a qualify reason to go why you should NOT even consider a new character.

in future there is NG+, which they indicate to be able to replay MSQ with ur current max level max gear, so no need for releveling, as for getting in touch with the skill, just hit the dummy, learn from the balance for rotation and opener, and do dungeon grind. that all you need :3

Just to update, i downloaded the trial to try for ps4 to see whether i still got "love" for the game hence i started new account.

I also noticed that i wont get the free 30 days trial if i use old account.

i got 2 max crafting profession in my old account.
Does it matter? if crafting is not really important then i just start new account

crafting always important for early end games, and gil making.

if you have any hate, it wont change much, but there a lot of QoL updates that you could try out but some are more towards higher max level.

Also all the skills have been rebooted and squished. So what you know of old days, is not the same. Also new jobs and such.
