id recommend XP, its simpler, easier, more stable, faster and better supported than vista. its almost as n00b friendly as OS X |

I still prefer XP, cos the networking settings for Vista e.g. File Sharing is more complicated than XP.
Even Ubuntu has a user friendly interface. |
