Hmm.. how complicated? Have you use windows OS before? Is it your first time? Anyway, vista is not "that" complicated if you use windows OS before. Ntg new i would say. For me, i sure choose winxp, lot of my applications need winxp to run, especially those freeware applications.

Btw, do you know that any OSs(mac os, linux, windows etc) are all tools for human beings?

i'm sure you can only install 32bit vista. Cos' non-santa rosa platform lappy is only 32bit machine, althought C2D is 64bit processor.
