I bought a Panasonic Inverter 2.0 Hp last year, when replacing the 2nd room 6 months later I went for Panasonic 1hp Inverter again.

Some things that I am not satisfied with the Panasonic
1) The IActiveX function - This suppose to be some super fast cooling function and revert to normal when cooled. Problem for me it had never revert to normal for me. Once on big fan big noise and not really big cool air.
2) Econovi - This works differently from my previous non inverter Panasonic Economy function. I feel the previously, the unit would lower the fan to reduce cool when temperature limit is reached, but with the new unit, it basically shut down the blower... this makes the room stuffy or too quiet for comfort.

I am curious about Daikin, I observed one at some shop, it seems basic enough , had a large led Temp display and looks and work pretty well.
I would still reference Panasonic if asked, just because of brand name trust and reliability.
