Oh ya, don’t have in places outside the Klang Valley. My bad!

You can try Hoda, which I’m using for my XR at the moment, or BlueO, which is cheaper and my wife is using it on her XS Max. Both pretty good too.

hoda easy break when dropped lol.. nvm i will look again. maybe buy more lol

Machines i think is the same price range. Not worth the price for slim hard plastic that is flimsy. I would suggest you buy Spigen Liquid Crystal. Slim tpu with side cushion.

i dont think powersupport is flimsy. u ever tried before? it is very solid type. i dont like the feeling of TPU, that is flimsy to me. powersupport casing is fitting is top notch and the plastic is polycarbonate with self healing and it never goes yellow. TPU owes go yellow. If flimsy is those skin type one like PEEL or MNML.

Nope bro. Dare not use cause too slim. I prefer drop protection and more solid case. Im using Rhinoshield solid suit.

Bro try this Mcdodo case. Also slim like the power support. Cheaper too. wink.gif
*
thanks.. will go and look see. i did tried 1 cafele brand before, slim case. slim matte. But is really like a skin type flimsy. if u find equivalent for spigen is the airskin, but tat is too slim for me. powersupport i can say is totally different. solid and sturdy hard case. i cant find any other ppl in the market make such case. ok la the thin fit is similar but thin fit does not cover all.

hi guys.. new xs user here finally upgraded from iPhone 7+

where can I get full screen tempered glass but without the black boarder?
glass only edge to edge.

the boarder cuts off a lil bit of the screen.
*
sorry to say therre is none tat totally cover until the edge for normal tempered glass.

whitestone dome maybe got cover the curve area using normal glass. but if it does it makes alot of casing incompatbile.

maybe u can go for those less coverage one. if u don wan black border

yes looking for the one that covers the whole real estate of the screen but the frame of the iphone itself is fine if not covered.

i've look around my area but the less coverage one is not even covers the sides of the screen... like 30% of the phone is not covered sweat.gif
*
there are good ones that the black border is smaller. but if u wan the tempered glass is also curved at the edge, there isnt any.

just brought in my phone and they say my phone is water damage, wat the fuk? Yes i did washed my phone yesterday under running tap water after i dropped my phone.. i tot is the drop cause problem but is water ingress.. damn.. if running water also will cause liquid ingress, i think better don advertise the phone as water resistant.

this is not the first time i wash my phone, last time i brought my phone to beach and i din do any submerging then i wash it because quite dirty after taking photos here there my hand is with sea water i touch the screen etc no issue. thats y i din suspect is water ingress problem because i done it before.

hopefully apple support can escalate and wee bit chance they can repair for me.. if not dunno need fork out how much to repair.. plus new phone coming out soon, should i wait for new phone to come out only do repair? since the repair fee may be lower normally when new phone is out because old phone become depreciated.

There’s an indicator that shows when the phone has come into contact with water and usually that’s what most repairers will check first when you bring your phone to them. Although Apple (and all other phone makers to be honest) advertised their phones as to having ingress protection, the reality is warranty doesn’t cover water damage so it’s best not to wash your phone.

Let’s see what Apple support reply to you first.
*
apple support ask me to get phone diagnosis report from local service provider. Yup i said their advertising is misleading, might as well dont tell that their phone is certified bla bla but no cover. It is in small fine print and not everyone go and read their warranty when nothing happened. Damn. last time my note 8 after i install whitedome screen protector i also use to wash it but no issue. so far i dont have any issue washing phone, this is the first time in my life.

now i am leaving my iphone in a bag of rice for 24hours, see if it can helps.

How long have u use ur phone bro? Ya sometimes its misleading for user for advertisement regarding water proof/resistant
*
less than a year.. warranty on september.. yup, so fuk up the advertisement say can water resistant but not covered. i agree it is fair that people may abuse it if they let ppl claim warranty because they cannot know how it was damaged, like if u brought it into 3m water, or u left it 1 day submerged.. but then it just sucks, they might as well dont say it is water resistance. Even during the keynote they say the phone is submerged into beer and it still works.

anyone did actually repair their phone due to water damage? how much does it cost? i ask the shop they say maybe around 3k.. most likely is like as u buy a refurb unit.. thats y worst case scenario is if i repair it later maybe it cost lesser because the price of phone drop few months later when ip 11 releases.

Be ready 3k if not mistaken. Screen replacement around 1.3k.
I guess if water damage they might just replace the phone with a refurbish/new set. No repair for apple
*
gawd damn.. Maybe wait iPhone 11 out and repair should be cheaper
