hi guys... just a quick question... don't u think that for those who already use eSIM from Maxis for their iPhone XS Max (Huawei Watch) need to go to Maxis centre to re-apply the eSIM that specifically for iPhone?

Tempting to get those e-sim so that I can use dual sim on my iPhone, but suddenly realised once I go with e-sim, to change phone, I’ll need phone with e-sim support.

Sometimes I’ll transfer my sim to my android phone to use as hotspot to preserve my iPhone battery 😸

Yeah, that’s the flexibility of having physical sim cards. Not sure when other phone makers will start adopting this. Samsung’s latest S10 doesn’t. I wonder if any other Android phone launching during next week’s MWC will support eSIM.

Haha correct but changed name already. Using it on my Pocophone now. Not many people know about it until it was announced by Xiaomi that some of their phones already secretly have esim capability.

Wait, what? It’s no longer called Durian Man? Hahaha, a shame! That was pretty unique. But the only way for it to work is with that particular app installed right, it won’t work natively?

FYI... esim able to change at certain maxis center only.

It should be as easy as using an app to configure the e-sim on your phone. It will be a hassle if you need to go to the shop to do it and defeats the purpose of having this feature.
