I believe some of you guys should know there's Sony fair at the Center court west lobby of Midvalley, right? I did asked the price from them and the promotion package they gave is just the standard single lens package with all package accessories but..... without the 4GB CF or MS, no camera bag, no free gift.. nothing. It just purely the body, lens, battery, charger, software, manual and some tiny things that's all. Yet the price still RM2999. But what they did free is a HVL-F36AM Flash worth RM1150 normal price. What do you guys think?

I were just considering whether to buy from them or not, there comes this forum which i has go through and found this Key Color name. Called them, they offer RM2699 for single lens full package + free bag + tripod + 4GB + screen protector. What's different between the fair and Key Color is no free RM1150 at Key Color but then gain discount benefits and those bag stuff.

Which offer do you guys think worth more? Thx.

Sony Alpha cam bag quite expensive.. Around RM150 - 400. Play play.. Failed to squeeze them to gift it to me as they said Flash itself already worth everything. Perhaps the carrying case can check at Key Color.

Between, i choose the RM2999 package from Sony fair that free the RM1150 Flash + 2GB CF(which I hardly squeezed from them). I think the flash is worth than Key Color's discount RM2699 which include cheap casing, cheap tripod and 4G memory card.

Am still learning on how to use the precious Alpha..

Is it all Minolta lens products can be used on Sony Alpha too? Just wonder as the Sony Alpha lens instead is quite expensive ler. Not possible to easily obtained.

I can't believe the lens u used can take so nice pic of Shiela har. Somemore so close view. Haha..
I just get the Alpha with most of my money. Now definitely no money for any other lens. Not even ur 50mm F1.4.

Besides, me too haven't got any case for my precious yet lar. No money yet to get it. Haih.. But without the case, i can't bring it out to capture nice things. All case is around RM100.

Wah.. Like that also can? Normal case should have soft sponch around to protect the body and lens from scratch. School bag can protect or not oh? buy a small soft bag mah..

From Sony website and Sony Center at Midvalley, the price they give is RM1150. You can try check Key Color, the price they offer quite cheap also. But of coz if u buy cam from them, more discount u can get.

U should be able to get the phone number of the shop from MidValley website. Call them and check then u'll save some petrol. Haha..

Yeah.. Their discount is quite attractive but too bad, they didn't manage to offer the same package from Sony promo fair which free a Flash F36AM last Sat causing me to have no choice but purchase from Sony fair.

Oh.. it's actually that cheap har.. Wonder why Key Color didn't want to offer cheaper package for me that day since like that. Ask him to free the CF to me also don't want.

So means I can get cheaper lens from Minolta AF when i need more advance photo captures. Great.

Does place like Key Color have such lens too? Cause Ampang Park is kinda far for me.

You want to buy it? Haha.. But it looked abit small, felt like the Cam won't be comfort inside the small bag.

Probably i should get there by LRT then. But don't really like LRT these days as the rate increased til quite expensive in addition need to squeeze with so many people if get in at the wrong time.

How much you get it? Why didn't get the bigger case?

Yup.. Price is quite cheap but too bad the fair is over already.. Wait for next fair.. Perhaps greater offer you might get.

Remember to add a link here woh if the Sony Alpha Thread really is opened. So that we can shared opinion on Alpha produced pics.

HOw about the others? Any objection on this? For just my opinion, i guess since it's for sharing pictures then should be in Photo Gallery.
But should it be for sharing only photo captured by Alpha?

Wow... A300 ler.. The design skin looked more simple compare with the current Alpha.
The design give me a first impression feel which is.. It's similar level like a d80.
Price wise i guess sure won't be cheap.
But then, this proved one thing. Sony won't falls so easily on DSLR as mentioned by many people.
(Wonder how many ppls dropped their spectacle)

I'm still proud of my new alpha, although not sure when only can get additional lens.

I agreed too. No offence to Canon or Nikon but I just love alpha more.

How nice of u to have a target. I don't even have enough time to completely play around with the alpha yet. Have to catch up and learn it soon.

Nvm lar, most of us also just bought the a100 not long ago. And i were told by KeyColor that new alpha(that time I doesn't know is A700 yet) gonna come out soon the time i'm going to get my A100, but then i still remain to A100 as i know i for sure can't affort to buy new alpha (out of budget even in future).

Agreed. Til we master the a100 first lar, then only consider to get tougher unit.
