All Hasblow packaging and promo pics illustrate very good paint job and extra details. But do note that those pics are sometimes proto pics which looks much better than the final product.

And they can always a fine print somewhere that states 'Final product may vary from picture' or 'Picture is for illustration only' to fend off those law suits. So, technically, they aren't conning us.

Take for example, BB08, if you look at the pic at the back of the card, you can see it has the Autobot insignia on its head, while the final mass production one doesn't.

Yup, I had those acrylic stands custom made to fit in to the Detolf.

It is RM199 now. Why not get two instead? Trust me, I know it will definitely be insufficient.

What's the point of buying so many TF and toys when you can't get to show them off. Therefore shelves or cabinets are part of the staple diet of a collector IMHO.

This is another excellent choice for displaying figures IMHO as you can add in as many shelves as needed and the height is adjustable [I like!!].

I see. Here's what I did to get some light at the bottom without spending anything extra.

As you would have known by now, the light comes in a set of two. If you put one at the top, the 2nd one is not long enough to be mounted at the bottom. Just make it longer by adding in additional wire.

Woila, extra lighting at the bottom at no extra cost, save for the wire and wire tape.

That looks like a early proto pic. Some of the parts are still molded in translucent plastics and not even painted yet. A nice piece nonetheless.

Oh, thanks for the info. This is the Hasbro TRU exclusive. If I am not mistaken, this one has Blaster's mold where you can fit two cassettes instead of the usual one.

As for the Takara Encore SW, RRP is RM150.

Turn A Gundam series is damn bloody good. Questionable Gundam design aside, it is one of the best stories IMHO. The newer Seed series is rubbish though.

I myself have had experience with all the OP.

My first one was the 20th Anni OP. I wanted to get the MP01 at that time but it was up to 900plus 2 years back. I was then forced to get the Hasbro counterpart. Of course, many fans argued that it is basically a castrated [shorter smoke stacks] version with some black paint smeared on it [battle damage]. Otherwise, it is exactly identical to MP01.

I said why not, and I ended up paying a goreng price of 480 since I couldnt fork out 800.

Later down the road, MP04 came out which was basically a trailer+MP01. At that time, I was tempted to buy the KO trailer [not by Takara] as 600 bucks was not something I could easily afford considering I wasn't working yet. In the end, I took a interest free loan from my gal [lucky me, eh?], and bought it. It was one of the best purchases in my life IMHO to date.

Besides that, I was tempted to get the 20th Anni OP DVD version for the base. I bought the figure at slightly below retail price, but was instantly repulsed at the colour scheme.

OMG, Hasblow had turned Prime into a castrated transvestite. With the blue gun, extra bright red paint and what nots. I instantly sold off the figure, but kept the base. The base with voice clips was also a huge disappointment seeing that it was not Peter Cullen's voice.

Of course, IMHO, any TF collector should get the MP04 if given the chance. But if money is an issue, any OP versions will do as they all possess the same mold and amount of die cast. It is the definitive G1 Prime.

Assuming the Encore version is the same as the G1 mold, it is different from the Hasbro one. As you can see pics posted by Mr. Uzumaki, this particular mold can hold two cassettes instead of one for the G1.

Wrong you are my dear sir. The last two models were the Walmart exclusives Ravage and Rumble. And the reason the line has slowed down or come to an almost complete halt was becos of the upcoming movie. Secondly, the BT series isn't doing too well, therefore it has been put back on hold.

I wished they had gotten the deal with Porsche.

I actually avoid the BT line for a couple of reasons. Firstly being cost and secondly, paint chipping.

I actually have no problem posing MP01. He is quite well balanced IMHO. As for Alts, I do not face any posing problems also [I have all the molds cept for Ford GT].

If you want a bad poser, get MP05. That bugger is a pain in the arse when it comes to posing.

That is correct, camshaft is the silver Acura RSX or Honda Integra.

Should be RM99.90 if it follows the footsteps of Nemesis Prime last year. But of course, do note that it is more expensive than the usual Alt. by 5usd, so they could always increase the price if they know it's a hot item.

I myself bought it quite late at the goreng price of 150 for Nemesis.

BT Smokescreen is at least RM300 judging by market price. BT Sideswipe is 200ish.

The Alt Smoke screen is 200ish and Alt. Sideswipe will be 100ish.
