Rm600 is for those who worked less than a year at the company before being retrenched.

For u, it's 80% of your salary for the 1st month. 50% next and the last one 20%
*
I think 80%/50%/40%/40%/30%
But the 80% for first month, is there a cap limit?

Wow...I have received the EIS compensation.
Anyone can enlighten me about calculation of EIS compensation?

I thought I will only receive RM600 per month, but looks like more than the amount (RM1K-RM2K extra).
Well, I already drop an email to the SOCSO officer at the same time.

So, is it 80% of ur salary?
Or do u mind tell us, wats ur salary during ur final pay?

No matter how high is your salary, SOCSO will only compensate you based on the salary amounting RM4,000 (cap) under EIS.
FYI, I received the 1st payment amounting RM3,160.

Thanks.

Ic... That makes sense also, as they deduct monthly is 0.2% of salary and with 4000 as cap
Thanks for the info

Latest update; today I've just signed the Job Placement Program agreement. This is part of the criteria needs to be fulfilled before receiving the monthly allowance. 1st allowance will be in about 2 weeks time.

2nd allowance subject to me fulfilling the Job Placement Program requirements.

So, looks like the compensation date is based on the date we submit & socso processing time, not based on the last day of our employment

Nope, confirmed 3 months only. 80%, 50%, 20%, bye bye.

The cap limit is your basic salary itself. If i'm not mistaken, those above 5k can't apply. Correct me if i'm wrong.

This is diff from what my company hr told us. Looks like its upto the officer. Wth
Some ppl got 4 mth
If more than 5k salary cant apply, they should hv told ahead. And of course, if so, then those more than 5k salary no need to deduct eis monthly d

Exactly, which is unfair to me. A friend of mine, had his application processed very slow (about 3 months), and by the time he got the approval, he already landed a job. He told the officer about this, and they say they will retract the approval. 🤦

Which perkeso office did u or ur fren applied?

Oic.. Good to know first month no need to commit those interviews
It means if he couldnt find new job , he is entitled to get the eis payment upto the 4th months unemployed.
Some ppl mentioned 3 mths, 6 mths etc

If landed a job, can still get compensation. Just a different one, Elaun Berkerja Semula Awal. It's 50% of the entitlement if i'm not mistaken
