Just upgraded to 800mbps but the old C1200 only can get up to 200++ mbps. does TM replace the router after turbo upgrade?

what do u suggest to buy for unifi 500Mbps? asus ac68 or ac86?

I'm using a laptop for this. Will test with wired connection but mostly I use Wifi. Tested with 5GHz and managed to go up to 90Mbps

owh. for rm15x not bad la. i though it was rm300+ 

Or bad router like C1200 v1 that keep random rebooting, or weak WiFi signal?

hi guys, I am currently using streamyx and I called 100 to subscribe unifi 100mbps @RM129. the operator told me that installer may go to your house if needed.

To my surprise I asked him, "isn't it need installer as currently I don't have fiber optic installed to my house?"  His answer is " because you are upgrading existing account and your area is already upgraded so no may not need to install"
Does this even make sense?

Maxis price for 300,500 and 800Mbps is much cheaper...

Just recently installed 100mbps@rm129.
I only got tplink router + huawei modem.

In email written 3 stuff.

1. High Speed Internet - Residential - lite 100Mbps - router+modem
2. unifi playTV Lite - can watch only using apps (known)
3. Residential Voice - technician said TM only provided phone number, but i need to buy my own phone if want to use the free call.

Is this true for all new subscribers, or am I getting conned?
