Sorry one more question.
TM pull the 2 fiber optic connection together at the same time?
I thought the bring in wire had taken out,and cant bring in more cable. (I mean the developer had put a cable before, and TM use it to bring fibre optic came in already, second one should be problem for bring in)
Unless they use the current fiber optic and tie 2 more come in? hmm.gif

Let me explain a bit of my story.
It's an old house, I installed my account first and it was pulled into my room. Then few months later, my housemate applied hers and TM also pulled another cable to her room. As in how it works, I'm not sure but the staff surely pulled from the pole behind our house.

That mean your house connected with two ports (only possible when there are available port)
My case last time moved to another location where previous tenant who moved to another state already disconnected his unifi ac a week before he moved out, when I moved in the following week, cannot relocate my Unifi because no port was available. I was told by TM there is some sort of "cooling period" for certain duration before port which account was terminated is freed and made available.
After nearly a month with still no port, by chance got acquainted with my new neighbor who happens to be a "someone" at TM HQ, told the person my port issue and guess what?.. within two days got call from TM port is available

Yes, like I mentioned earlier provided there are available ports. smile.gif

Actually i ask for the question because now new house with pre-build fibre optic box will having a normal line wire from their outside pole into a hole under the fibre optic box.
So normally new house, tm installer will directly tie the fibre optic with the pre-build from their pole, and then pull the cable from the hole into the house with the pre-build line wire. So it should be a big problem for second cable pull if they didn't pull the cable together when install unifi.
And now no more flying fiber optic cable to new house that had build-in the pre-set wire to bring in the cable.

Sorry I'm not too sure how it works for new houses. I can only say based on my own experience that it's possible to have more than one account in one address. The technical part I will leave to the experts to advise you all.

In real life, no consumer will waste time complimenting or promote a product unless they're paid either monetary or with benefits to do so. You'll only hear complaints on the threads if they're not satisfied.

These threads are often filled with resellers or company staffs to promote their services disguising as consumers. Do take note.

Yeah, maybe you should tell that to se7en because LYN consists tonnes of such threads. Seriously, we are sick with your assumption. Calling us TM ambassadors and resellers and whatnot, what's next? I have said this before and will say it again. As a user who's barely one year old here, you surely know a lot about LYN culture yeah? Lurk more and don't assume.

This "assumption" or observation does not just apply to LYN. It applies everywhere in all public forums especially profit oriented popular ones that relies on donations/sponsors.

Just noticed that over the weekend activity on this thread itself has also slowed down. Could it be that most of these posters here were resting on weekends? They only came back to post helpdesk replies on weekdays?

The forum is always slower during weekends, applies to all threads in all sections. Lurk more.
