It's just like a third person action-strategy combo where you control minions (think of them like friendly AI). Remember that game a couple years ago? Freedom Fighters? It's like that. You have objectives, then you use your minions to help you get those objectives.
I just finished downloading the demo and finally tried it out. Wicked stuff (in a good way). The game is great. Hmmm ... what will happen if i kill the villagers

Ya...it's a RPG meet RTS. The game is very fun, my only complain is the control. The only way for you to change camera angle is left bumper because right thumbstick is taken for sweeping minion. Abit troublesome sometimes.
Other than that, rebuilding your tower is great! It gives you the sense of achievement everytime you bring back an object or something for your tower...you can see the progression.
Got my first mistress!!! Oddly, she haven't change to her "SM outfit" i saw in the trailer. Probably she is still packing in her room... Her current medieval clothes aint that bad... *the sm outfit i am referring to.

You can get your first mistress at the Heaven's Peak quest. The peasant in the town will talk about it as the mysterious lady. Her name is Rose though..

....but then, nobody stopping you to get the blackest heart Press button back to see your corruption level. Mine is still at 0%.

Doesn't matter, later there are some quest that give you the option (the FOOD quest, being one). If you do good, it will decrease some evilness of you & vice versa...just like Fable. (it will determine your final magic skill too! I read the manual )
Talk about option, i found the SM Mistress... ...but one tower can only have one mistress!

Gunslinger in Overlord? Dont tell me your minions can take on guns in Overlord too... Did anybody notice that those minions in Overlord and the things you summon in The Darkness is pretty similar... Still i think Overlord is better because it somehow have a RTS combining with 3rd person shooter kinda feel in it...

Ya..the minion looks very alike to the darkness creature. Nope, you can't arm them with gun of course but you can arm them with sword, or anything you can find. Just like how they wear pumpkin as their helmet
The game is good but the control...geram. I swear alot playing the multiplayer because lotsa time i am like "I could've done that if it wasn't for the bloody controls!"
Multiplayer Versus Mode. -You either spawn at point A or point B. No Fix base. -Think of it as Warcraft 3 without resource management and base. -The dude quit after continous death.
Haven't try the coop survival yet.

Bad move, I suggest u to start all over again if ur aiming for that achivement or you could do the zero corruption first.

Anyhoo, if anyone's just starting, here's a tip. Before you go to the Halfling Houses, just save your game there. That way you can be bad, and then restart from the Halfling Houses and be good instead.

I already played with silencer and mayatsan. Still need more player to join the overlord mp. I want more to join and start competing against each other. I dont want to leave my overlord game without actually playing the whole exp of its mp. So come on guys. Join in the mp mode and call ur minions together.
