i am getting disappointed at SE W910i ....
currently i using it ....

although the 3.5G internet is fast
but problem is the phone keep on restarting plus slow and lagged ...

Thats actually common on older SE phones. SE is synonymous for restarts and lags. Time for you to move on to a newer phone

Hi, my w910i is hav ing a serious problem! Most of the main buttons are not working, example left button, right button, the center button, up/down/left/right, call, end call, shortcut, 'c' button, all not working! Now I can't even on my phone because of these problems.

How do I transfer my files and contacts from that phone? FYI, I can't turn on my phone.

Oh yea, how much does it cost to fix those problems?

I currently have a W910i unlocked from Australia, which i think is from 3...as this firmware doesnt support chinese character, can anyone tell me how to enable this phone to read and type chinese characters?

You will need to reflash the firmware to region R1FA035 which is for SEA region.

Added on November 18, 2010, 4:02 pmMost probably your phone is bricked because you cant turn it on. One of my friend's W910i also have the similar problem as yours. I would suggest you to buy a new phone rather than repairing it ...

Anyway, I'm still using my W910i happily as it serves me well and no major problem except the restart and lagging problem when playing media.
Its 2 years old already and work perfectly I guess the lifespan depends on how the owner take care of it haha ...

just some info...i still remember my fren who bought this w910 when it first came out in late 2007.new unit for 1100-1200 around that price range...

I bought tis end of 2008 for $1340 wit 4GB m2 ...

RM1340 ? omg haha ... anyone still using this phone ?
