Hi guys, I am planning to get my parents who live in JB Myiptv4k on our android tv box.
I live across the causeway so I am not familiar with MY internet plans.
1. Can I know if this IPTV run smoothly on mobile wifi?
I am looking at getting DIGI's Broadband Monthly 65 or 105
(https://www.digi.com.my/shop/broadband/postpaid-plans)
At the moment getting mobile WIFI is the only option for them. Or do you have any other mobile WIFI recommendation?
2. And what is myiptv4k data consumption? Is 50GB data per month enough if they watch the iptv, let say everyday for 5 hours?
1. I cannot guarantee the speed of 4G in Malaysia here, it is depends on the coverage and signal strength of you area. You may also consider this - https://unifi.com.my/personal/home/wireless-broadband. There have several major 4G broadband in Malaysia here, you can do some research on Maxis, Digi, Celcom, Umobile and Unifi. What I recommend the best 4G broadband in Malaysia should be Maxis. Follow by Celcom then Digi. Maxis is the best but problem is more expensive - https://www.maxis.com.my/mobile-plans/maxis-postpaid/. For Celcom, you can check here - https://www.celcom.com.my/personal/broadban...m-home-wireless. I really cannot give you an exact suggestion because 4G broadband in Malaysia is really depends on coverage and signal strength. 2. I do not use MYIPTV4K but I'm using MYPAD4K on my PC with android emulator. Both MYIPTV4K & MYPAD4K are the same sources actually, they are come from the same provider. So I can use PC to check the bandwidth consumption with my MYPAD4K.

Both download and upload speed are floating around 1~5MBPS each. So just assume that you need 8mbps during watching an IPTV. So is 1MB/s, if your parents need to watch 5 hours per day. So it is average 300MB per day.
Just to remind to pick a better mobile broadband for stream live TV. Maxis and Celcom should be the safe pick for better upload speed because I really cannot guarantee what is the upload speed for other telcos.
