No way because you need the card to use as ATM also.

get one basic card without card?
there should be one with CIMB right?
then link it to your housing loan a/c?
should be possible right since they are from the same bank?

Because of PIN & Pay and MyDebit initiatives, all conventional ATM only cards are converted to ATM-cum-debit cards.

Go to Cimb ask them for free basic saving account. They will give you all kind of excuse not to open it. Kindly ignore and continue to insist for it.

Once basic saving account open,  close your current account. To u can still use same login for cimb clicks. Your new basic saving account should be there. Keep in mind the amount of atm withdrawla/month and counter visits for the  free basic saving accoubt.

Case settle.

I thought CIMBClicks account is tied to the ATM card.
Can he/she de-link the ATM card from the old SA to the newly open SA?

hi guys, so majority still live with rm15 fees? mine rm15 was found out just now.
anyone here managed to downgrade the saving account without annual fees?

For CIMB, you need to close the existing account and open a BSA w/o fee.

Different bank has different policy to adhere to.
