I had a chat with TM live chat, they said the PPPoE id and password are correct, ask me to contact ASUS support. Any suggestion? I am using the merlin firmware on RT-AC86U.

My home unifi had been upgraded to 500mbps last 2 months. I had bought ASUS wireless router RT-AC86U to replaced my ASUS N14UHP in order to achieve 300mbps+. I had requested a new PPPoE password from TM but still it stated "Not Connected", then i retry on my old wireless router with the new password and it works...

I am using the merlin firmware on RT-AC86U. Don’t forget to select Unifi Home or Business. Unifi use VLAN tagging so if you don’t enable that, you will never be able to connect. |

Click "special requirement from isp" checkbox during ppoe username and password key entry or, as mentioned by justbella, go to LAN>IPTV and pick "Unifi-Home" profile there.I had a chat with TM live chat, they said the PPPoE id and password are correct, ask me to contact ASUS support.
