 Wepost and Skynet, Bad experience

Recently I bought Taobao from China and using Wepost for warehouse and delivery service. I had their service before and impressed wth their efficiency then.
I had my CNY shopping end of 2018, hoping to have my new clothes and household stuff for 2019 CNY celebrations. I was glad to receive most of my Taobao stuff on time. But there are 5 out of 34 items are missing. I informed Wepost and they insist me to provide the weight of my parcels upon receiving point. What! This requirement never mentioned in the rules. So what can I do?

And for Skynet company, this is the first time they delivery parcels to me. First attempt according to them, office close delivery failed. It was on 12/1 Saturday 11.43am, that was someone in, and he didn’t hear any delivery atttempt. I received the failed delivery via email notice, there is not physical written notice drop at letter box. So to avoid similar experience happen, I left many messages to ensure they call before coming. Of course, no call was received and they delivered on a Friday evening. Luckily I was there and asked why didn’t they call. They said they are very busy and no time to make phone call. I had been living in China for many years, their delivery service is 👍. They send SMS notify the delivery status ensure no effort wasted as they work on no. of parcels successfully delivered, not basic salary.

What I can say, missing is missing, I just want the Public aware of unwritten information or steps required to avoid any unnecessary “missing in action”.

I am Mr Choong from WePost. Apologize for your bad experience on using our services.

Let me explain what is happening here.

Why WePost require you to weight the parcel if you are complaining regarding 'missing parcel'?

- China Seller send multiple item but customer only have 1 tracking number result fail to update to WePost and customer is not aware.

- Parcel packaging is damaged , might be taken by courier guy during delivery process.

- China Warehouse mis packaging your one of your item.

So for above reason, we need our customer to provide Weight Information, because every single ITEM you purchase and collected in our warehouse, we provide Weight information.

For example, 5 item with total weight of 3KG, and if you receive with 3KG parcel. But you notice some of your item is missing, it might because seller has separate your item with different China Tracking number.

For example, 5 item with total weight of 3KG, and if you receive with 2.5KG parcel. But you notice some of your item is missing, it might because China Warehouse mis packaging your item, so we will look in our warehouse. However, if parcel you receive is damaged, we will claim from courier first because it might be a stolen case.

At the end of this, on behalf of our customer service team, I would like to apologize we did not explain well with you.

It is hardly to explain like this and hardly for customer to understand what we are talking about. We do not push away our responsibility but it need your cooperation at the first place because we do not beside you when you receive your parcel. So, your information is crucial for us in the investigation.

You have heard a lot of scammer online cheated by seller, but we do cheated by customer in term of fake complaint, wrong transaction or even third party scam. So, a least information requirement and cooperation is what we need from our customer to protect both parties get the fair treatment.

We have our policy stated in term of Parcel compensation in the event of missing item, it require user to provide weight information and parcel image within 48 hours after delivered, it take 7-10 working days for us to check and investigate with courier, custom and warehouse parties.

Hopefully after my simple explanation, you could understand the reason behind. And dont forget, we truly apologize on your bad experience and your feedback is very important for us to improve. We are not checking on every social media, you can always call to our CS or wrote an email to our complain department. We have our after sales service team ready to serve you.

I am having the terrible experience with wepost too. They charged me extra wrapping charge of rm2.50 which I did not request at all. I had explained many times that I did not request the service but they insist to charge me and they said will refund once I receive the package with the proof of photo. After I received and send them the photo, they said cannot refund to my bank account(but my payment to them is direct from my bank account, they skipped the Wepost wallet top up step during this payment), they can only refund to my Wepost wallet where from there I can withdraw to my bank Acc but with some charges. They suggested me to use it for next transaction. With this kind of the business tactics, I will not dare to deal with them again. Although I tried to call them many times, no one answer the line. I leave a message through their website to ask them to call me back, they also give a lots of excuses, No call back at the end too. And their website messages are very slow till you will fed up to communicate with them.

Have been using Wepost couple of times with no issues (good experience) until lately in month of September 2019 transaction with Wepost services (very bad experience - the whole transaction come very unusual and full of excuses)

Parcel arrive on the 20th Sep 2019 and there is no further updates till 9th Oct 2019.

In between the period (20/Sep/2019 - 9/Oct 2019), I have been calling and reached out the customer support asking where is my package and when can I make the payment so that their team can make the arrangement for the transportation to Malaysia. The only answer they reply is "we shall do it as soon as possible" (without giving the exact time) until to a point the customer support said if no further updates on the 9th Oct 2019, we (wepost) shall compensate.

The good thing is on the 9th Oct 2019 (this is how the 9th Oct 2019 updates came in), customer support come back to me and said that my package has actually reached Malaysia and shall deliver to you on the 11th Oct 2019. So, I quickly log in to the Wepost portal to make the payment hoping there would not be any more delay. During that time, I am not able to make selection (mode of transportation: Air / Sea and I am not able to buy Insurance).

Everything is a pre-determine the amount and services by Wepost (Wepost has charged me as Air service) and I just need to pay what is stated at the portal. By the way, their calculation on the freight is right. At this stage, the only thing that make me feel DO NOT FEEL GOOD is I am not able to select the mode of transport (either Air and Sea) and not able to buy Insurance.

Guess what happen from 11th Oct 2019 - 21th Oct 2019, I still did not receive my package as promised.
As promised 11th Oct 2019 would deliver but did not deliver. Follow up again.
Promise will deliver on the 18th Oct 2019 and still did not deliver. Again follow up.
Promise to deliver on the 19th Oct 2019 and still did not deliver.

Everytime, when they said want to deliver the package I have to be at home to the receive the package (waste of time waiting for them).

Today 21st Oct 2019, I still keep following up my case. There is still no further updates or reply from the respective team with exact date date or time for delivery.

I also had a very bad experience with Wepost. The customer service unable to solve my problem directly, always asking me to wait... (==)" and their customer service is super duper slow in reply.. always take half day to reply my message. Recently the shipment is getting slower.. kinda disappointed..

WEPOST is not reliable!!!! MY FIRST TIME AND ALSO MY LAST TIME TO USE WEPOST

I bought things from 11.11, all my parcels arrived within 3 days.

I have submitted shipment detail and combine all the parcel to ask for the total shipping fee.

but until today, they are still not able to ship out my parcel!!!!

Contact customer service they said still got few parcels not yet arrange!!!! but I been waiting for a week but the status still the same.

ANYONE EXPERIENCE THIS?

Hi, any1 have Wepost service number or contact number?

I call them for 2 day day, but haven't get any feedback and reply.
My parcel was reach, but the amount of parcel delivery is no qual in apps... what should I do? Thanks

Hi Mr Choong, may I get WePost contact number, I was worry about my few parcel missing, as I yesterday received my parcel, but according to "Wepost" ads, what shd I receive should be 13-14 Box, but I just receive 6 box last night only (and delivery order also state 6 Box only).

May I know where is my another 7-8 box parcel going?

Wepost is a cheating / conman company run by a young guy named sky choong, they'll find excuses from time to time to confiscate your delivery using various reasons and then lelong off using their own channels, this is how they made money.

I received the parcels in 3 to 4 days after the items arrived their warehous in china
