Yeah, the app is not so stable, hopefully TM can improve stability. But at the very least we can access it on Android TV platform.

Maybe can try clearing cache and app data, or reboot the device.

NHK World Premium and France24 are considered as “special interest” channels since most viewers would watch something that they speak/understand. Moreover, these two channels have the lowest viewership, so unifi TV separated this channel.

StarHub TV and Singtel TV also offer NHK Premium as à la carte channels. France24, on the other hand, is available in English exclusively to Astro GO customers (on unifi TV it’s in French).

At the moment, unifi Plus Box still doesn’t support Netflix. The box is not certified to use Netflix.

It may not be TM’s fault, but maybe Skyworth’s fault (since Skyworth is the manufacturer of the box)...

Try going to Settings > Display and Sound > Change Image Position and move all the sliders to the left.

IPTV Auth settings is to change your IPTV credentials (login ID, password). To change, the code is 3675.

Field switcher depends on whether you’re subscribed to unifi Lite (steamyx) or unifi home broadband.

Not sure about TVMS settings though.

You can actually request to unbind the box from the old account to the new, and just subscribe to a pack on the new account.

You can actually still use the box, even with your old account, on the new one.

You can’t watch free channels on unifi TV app (Android TV). You need to subscribe to a package, then they’ll give you a unifi TV ID (abc@iptv format).

The unifi Plus Box is running as OTT (over-the-top), it uses your internet bandwidth, so the quality will be compromised.

unifi TV Media Box (Android V8) runs on purely IPTV with wired dedicated bandwidth.

Were you logged in?

For the timeout issue, try clearing the app cache (Settings > Apps > unifi TV > Clear cache). If not, try logging out. Try rebooting your device. Otherwise, try resetting/reinstalling the app (Settings > Apps > unifi TV > Clear data).

Are you using Android TV / unifi Plus Box or unifi Media Box (white V8 box)?

Looks like you’re using oldest model of TM set-top box. If the user interface is very slow and crashes, I think you’ve the new UI.

There’s no way to clear cache on this model - it’s not Android or Android TV. Try rebooting your device, or call TM to revert back the previous UI.

The new UI is not that stable has some playback issues. Try calling TM to somehow revert the UI to the previous version. You can also try downloading the unifi TV app (if you have Android TV); the only thing is have to compromise PQ.

The unifi TV (V8) white box is different from the unifi TV app on Android TV or unifi playTV app.

TM blocked downloading apps on the box via Google Play.

TM blocked other apps from being installed on white box, apart from iflix.

Is this for maxis or unifi? Never heard of such promo coming from unifi...

Yes, you can use 2 different unifi Plus Box under one household ID. Just have to contact unifi and request for multiroom services/access.

Though I don’t recommend unifi Plus Box because no Netflix. Ideally if you already have Android TV, then better to install the app there.

Try to clear app cache. Go to Settings > Apps > unifi TV > Clear cache. If not, try Clear data.

Otherwise, try re-installing the app.

Also worth mentioning your Android TV should be Google-certified (able to run Netflix).

You mean you want to use old HyppTV box (first gen, silver STB) for your unifi Lite account? Or do you want to upgrade your box?

If it’s the former then you can still use the box on unifi. Just call and request for a unifi TV ID. Then log in to the box when prompted. Though you can only watch basic free TV channels.

If it’s the latter then it is possible but you’ve to re-contract for 12 months and pay RM 53 for the newer white (V8) STB.
