This is good news. I am subscribing to D+H, using my phone no. So should I terminate current subscription first? Or can run concurrently? I thing if subscribe through unifi also will use the same number.

Just for info. Yesterday when I watched Unifi Sports, there was an ad stated that those who have unifi 300mbps will get disney hotstar for free.

Because usually normal 300mbps comes with ultimate tv plan, in this case hotstar is no-added-cost bundle

But for some 300mbps with VAR pack need add on for rm16/month

The even rarer staywithunifi plan or loyalty plan (without tv plan) will need add on for normal price of 54.90/3 months

Setup process is exactly as shown, except as expected will be stuck long loading for WiFi & Google login.
For custom router users I recommend using the stock TM router to speed up initial setup and FW update, then switch back when done.

the problem with hotstar is some key features (eg 4K and dolby) unavailable on some smart tv platforms like samsung tizen, LG webos, pana my home screen (firefox os fork)

What about netflix, amazon... u get 4k, hdr, dv, dd, atmos, etc?

If ok with netflix but not ok with d+h, that means the reqirements are diff...?

Firstly your tv not just need support HDR. Dolby vision is advanced version of HDR with higher bit color, need certification from dolby itself. No capalang one can be certified by dolby as the certification process is rather strict. And dolby do charge some for each certified device sold

Samsung have a competing standard called HDR10+, that's why samsung tv/devices no support DV because samsung didn't bother sending to dolby for certification they don't want give extra money to dolby.

So the SMS offer they sent me for RM179 (300mbps+Disney Hotstar) is not valid, they said, because I already am on 300mbps. Why send me that offer then..

Kinda get my hopes up for free Disney+. Sigh.
