after a few months, i come to the conclusion that netflix is by far, the best vod app, with many continuous new shows - i watch this the most.

disney+, iqiyi are ok, but insufficient continuous new shows.

HBOGo is the worst, quality sucks on big TV - i refuse to watch.

linear channels are useful - news, celestial, sports, etc.

You guys think its okay if I just get Ruby Plus Pack (also comes with MangoTV) + add on iQiyi for chinese related shows only? It'll cost about RM40 I think. For older parents wanting to watch chinese stuff only. This option is also cheaper than Astro.

As part of its current promo, subscribers can enjoy savings when signing up for Unifi Fibre Broadband with the Netflix combo.

The base 100Mbps which retails for RM129/month can be yours with a Netflix Basic subscription for RM89/month. Note that the RM89/month price is only valid for the first 3 months as the remaining months will cost you RM114/month.

Over a 24-month contract duration, that’s an average of RM111/month (RM2,661 / 24). As a reference, the standalone 100Mbps fibre plan without Netflix currently is going for RM99/month. That's ridiculous. They rather fork out money to relaunch a defunct app (Warner Bros. Discovery discontinued the app in the Asian region), but they couldn't afford Discovery linear channels. Seriously?!

For the app I am really surprised they bundle TVB instead suddenly (thanks for your highlight or else won't realise so fast) because by market price it is the most expensive compared to Mango TV and iQIYI and well honestly I prefer TVB over the others for the contents.. no idea why I still do not like shows produced by Mainland or Korea over HK and well someone will say 2024 still got ppl watch TVB lol yet the data won't lie

But VOD also better la lucky not given Channel so I can decide when to watch the drama rather than rushing for the airing time.. just that need to wait until end of month as switching will only come active after existing 1 month subs expired.. meanwhile just wait patiently lol

I agree hk movie almost dead and yeah a lot good shows comes from ur mentioned. But still Chinese in Msia still favor to tvb series since they already accustomed to it especially oldies.
