I engaged Armands services after bumping into this thread, I sent in the first batch of gpus for normal servicing, changing pads etc, still satisfactory.
Second time I sent another pc of gpu, he told me can collect the same evening. I told him 2 days later la I come. Manatau when I came for collection, it’s not done at all, he totally forgotten. So he said give him 15-20 mins, for me no issue. After that when I received the gpu i thought it was surprisingly fast, too fast to do a proper job. I double checked with him if he actually tested the temperature after he changed pads. This is the right and proper procedure for all services. He replied yes, normal la at idle speed 39-40 degc. At this moment I really had my doubts, the turnaround time is too fast to check, if he replied he hasn’t had time to check as he didn’t want to keep me waiting it’s the professional thing to do, not lying. When I run the gpu, unfortunately, high temperature persist, the guy did not do any verifications at all and just lied. When I contacted him, he say send back. But no, never again, I don’t engaged unprofessional services no matter how good their technical levels are. They are dozens of repairers in kl, unfortunately this guy has just been strike off my list. |

Sent two graphic cards for repair to Mr. Armand. Was told need time for diagnose and i agreed.
Went back home later, received messages from Mr. Armand graphic cards can be fix and can be collected on the next day. Mr. Armand was very efficient and nice guy, even recommend me to buy a new PSU. Upon reaching, Mr. Armand and his team clean my CPU upon requested, a very thorough cleaning, washing case and everything, fixing new PSU and GC everything back together and tested it out EVERYTHING WORKS PERFECTLY WELL, KUDOS to Mr. Armand and his team Highly recommended and i will definitely go again if i have issues in the future. Hi I have a 7970 Matrix Platinum. It's been working fine. It's started error windows startup and turned artifact screen and hanged. Sometime it were fine and suddenly be some colorful artifact screen by vertical and horizontal lines. Any chance to fix this. Do advise how much will be. Pm price and phone number. Thanks

I need assistance with desoldering and soldering an NGFF connector on an M.2 NVMe adapter for the ROG Ally.
The current NGFF connector on the adapter is too low, preventing the use of a heatsink on the M.2 NVMe SSD. I'd like to replace it with a taller NGFF connector, and I will supply all the necessary components. Is this something you can assist with? If so, could you please provide a price estimate? ![]() |
