Some of the youtube videos get colour distortion with pink/green hues. See example below.

Using Youtube Vanced on a 2/16 TX3 mini. OTA on the box says firmware is the latest (201812xx - can't remember the last 2 numbers).
Read somewhere saying disabling hardware acceleration may solve the issue so wanted to try.

No problem on all other apps.

Try a different YouTube player.

i do not think that has to do with hardware/software acceleration.
hardware acceleration improves the video processing, better with it than w/o.
it is app specific, i.e. some apps under settings, u can disable or choose some other.

tx3mini is 4k30hz; if u play 4k60hz or some unconventional videos on youtube, u will get likely that.
it also depends on the youtube version u use; vanced, i dunno but i hv seen this with smart youtube.
suggest u select lower/auto; or try other youtube versions.
yr tv too... it must be able to handle 4k.

Download Latest official unmodded Youtube mobile and play the same clip, and it will play fine. If you insist on using YouTube Vanced, then try the latest version of Vanced. If still doesn't work, change to 360p, guarantee it will be fine at 360p on Vanced or Smart YT TV.

Thanks guys.

I've downloaded the official YouTube app to try but the problem now is I can't find any clips with that issue anymore on Vanced. I'm using the latest version.

Now even 1080p60hz videos play fine. The TV is 1080p.

Murphy's Law at work. It's like your car making funny sounds but the minute you get to the mechanic, the sounds disappear.

I'll keep checking.
