Is that tube pcv tube? If pcv tube need to fix back. If not it will suck in unfiltered air to engine and engine blow by gas can't be removed properly.

That is definitely not PCV valve hose. It does not come out from valve cover and is too small. PCV hose usually links to the intake hose after the air filter before throttle body.
This tiny hose attaches after throttle body. It could be a throttle body heater hose or vacuum advance hose. But cannot be certain. This post has been edited by netmatrix: Jan 12 2019, 10:33 PM |

It can't be throttle heater hose. Normally those hose will need to be as tight as possible where you can find clamp at the end of the hose. It should be nothing to do with vaccum line as well because TS said nothing unusual when removing it.
Rcracer seems to be correct. Perodua later car model will have the hose attach to a charcoal box instead attach it back to the throttle directly. |

The hose looks like standard size and has no special valve for it. Bring sample and spare parts shop can cut to size. But if want more durable hose, can buy silicone one. |

PCV hose usually links to the intake hose after the air filter before throttle body. simple car only has two hoses to intake manifold and these are always vacuum hoses if behind throttle body This tiny hose attaches after throttle body. It could be a throttle body heater hose or vacuum advance hose. But cannot be certain. almost always the two hoses are brake booster vacuum and PCV valve. throttle body heater is always coolant line and needs clamps EFI has no use for vacuum advance only carburetor and old old distributor systems. Anything EFI is almost always controlled by electric relay, solenoid, actuators . |

QUOTE(steven789 @ Jan 12 2019, 09:02 PM) Hi all car sifus. What's the purpose of this hose as pointed with yellow arrows on picture? Just now i accidentally broke this tube on my Kelisa but the car still running normally. Is it ok to leave it unconnected? carburator hose, replace it asap like below RM10 only for the short hose.before you need to wash your carburator which cost more and time. |
