got several ppl shooting her... so i did this shoots when there were asking her to pose n etc...
so i shot her other angles... got some direct face wan i din like... hahhahaha

else a lot wasted

even u go there with a group of ppl, u can still ask her to look at u from a while, compose n snap

lao none of them look at u?

maybe the lens not big enough cannot catch attention
next time bring over a Big CANON sure look at u one

hahah... i frm butterworth area oni... normally go shoot during weekends with bunch of frens... mayb u can give me ur msn via PM... then i can cotnact u when got shooting... heehh

about the looking at me.. i hav some of those.. but din really like it... so i use this instead.. hahaha...

hahaha.... the shoes is from bad composition.. lolz... this pics are all the lower grads wans... thts y got bad composition n heavy pp.... anyway, will share more pics so that u guys can c&c... then oni can learn.

#1. Too passport "type" of pic, step back with ur 50mm
#2. Try maintain standard colors tone, WB
#3. Over used the f/1.8 need larger DOF to cover the model fully

Here's a tip for you when you shoot picture like #2 and post 29, #11. When you have something that is really bright in the scene, try to keep it away from the frame when you are metering it. Meter another scene that has even lighting, without anything in really dark/bright zone and lock the exposure. Then go back to your subject and do your thing. You'd notice that your subject will no longer be underexposed. This is very important when you have subject with dark skin tone who are wearing bright apparel. If you follow this practice, See Peng's skin tone in #11 will not be underexposed, and it will look like #9 & #10 smile.gif

As already said by shinchan, you are putting too much hope on the lens being 1.8....and you really need to set custom white balance when you are indoor.
