dumb me

bought ticket to yogjakarta on early July(cheap air ticket) only to realize that it is puasa time

will it be hard to get food that time?

bro, need your advice

I am going during puasa time with one of my friend(that makes 2)

is it advisable for us to drive on ourself or just get a driver

I tried to call a guide who was introduce by my friend but he seems reluctantly taking me up due to puasa

few driver refuse to take me as I am going on 3rd July which is on puasa month

littleprawn recommended driver did not respond my email

Just came back from yogyakarta

Here are my itineraries


Day 1
1. Leave hotel at 4a.m to see sunrise at a village(there are few places to watch, I ask him to bring me to cheaper one) near borobudur
2. Borobudur temple
3. Mendut temple
4. Mount Merapi & Kali Adem Village(the village that was destroyed by the volcano)
5. Prambanan temple

Day 2
1. Bird market pasty
2. Kotagede
3. Ratu Boko temple
4. Watch Ramayana Ballet in a restaurant at city center(you can also opt to see at Prambanan Temple)

Day 3
1. Yogyakarta Sultan palace (kraton Yogyakarta )
2. Water castle
3. Kasongan terracotta village(handicraft and clay work)
4. Parangtritis beach
5. Dinner at Bukit Bintang Wonosari (great city night view but lousy food - price is ok thou)

2. very friendly and talks a lot
3. doesn't bring you to expensive place unless you ask
4. responsive to whatsapp
5. registered tour guide and provide receipts
