Thank you spiderwick.
Moved away from Maliboro, All Seasons Hotel. Didn't lie it there.
Did the Prambana, Kraton Palace, Taman Sari Water Castle.

Went to D'Omah, Tembing. Quite a nice place with privacy.
Doing the Borobudur tomorrow morning, 3 am morning call.

We rode on a Kijang (rented car with driver) to Mount Merapi.
It's not comfortable, very bumpy.

Stayed at All Season, very close to Malioboro.

That was All Season, within walking distant to Malioboro. We stayed for 2 nights then moved away as we 1) didn't like Malioboro Shopping Street 2) finished Taman Sari and the surrounding area, and they started some renovation, a bit noisy.
All Season had a Sky Bar with live band, can go for a drink, but the food is not good. Lots of locals hang out here.

Malioboro, very congested along the walkway.

Part of Prambanan. A very nice back drop for photo shot.

How's Merapi now? This time last year it was LIKE THIS.

It's much better now. More life. Grass has grown. People had came back to settle. There are 3 private tolls, the local collect a fee to let vehicle to pass through. Lots of make shift sheds, toilets and stall. There are motorcycle, motocross or Jeep tours too.

Oh Taman Sari still renovating~
The last time i went there also the same~

Sorry, phased wrongly, it's All Season that is doing renovation. Taman Sari, is worn down. They are applying for UNESCO, and the owner (the Sultan) wants to evict all the house there and turn it to a "hotel" or Homestay.

Great to hear that! Let's compare the closest pics I've got to yours ... mine from 05/02/2011, a year ago.

The volcano will erupt again, and the cycle goes on ...

Wow, that bad huh. Thank goodness we don't have volcanoes. I guess we Malaysian are the luckiest lot. Thank all our different gods for this.

D'Omah Boutique Resort @ Tebing, Jogjakarta. A very interesting and unique place. Very tastefully furnish. Own by an Australian (PR), Mr Warwick Purser.
