please feed your new born with breast milk only, they cant take anything other than milk. as long as it go lower its in check.
you are putting your child at risk for feeding him anything other than milk. their digestive system is not mature enough yet.

but, your baby, your choice...

Breast milk is causing jaundice. Feed with powder milk instead. Breast milk can store and use after jaundice is cleared.

No.
Breastmilk jaundice is not harmful.
No need to stop breast milk. Continue feeding breast milk

Just continue with feeding BM, TS.
My 2 daughter also prolong jaundice, doesn't need to do anything else.
Just keep feeding BM & make sure they do urine a lot as well.

wife got sound from nurse for feeding bb with formula when we went checkup and brought our daughter to hospital for phototherapy
if your wife is producing enough and have milk, breast milk is always 1st choice.

My experience is stop breastmilk and jaundice reduce. But phototherapy is needed.

The exact cause of breast milk jaundice isn’t known. However, it may be linked to a substance in the breast milk that prevents certain proteins in the infant’s liver from breaking down bilirubin. The condition may also run in families.

I think most happened to Asian.
