from what I see some import cars like toyota using jap paints ok also what, can tahan quite a few years if the paintjob is done properly la, that is.

it all boils down to the paint shop themselves actually.
for me i wan house of kolor candy coat #66 XD

add - my car using sime paint nia. chekai like crap. last time kena hit, the paint flaked off like those biscuits. anybody knows where i can get house of kolor? wanna ask around to see quotation for a candy job biggrin.gif hehehehehehe either that, or spray matte black like the papan hitam. no need to wash and detail forever + confirm rust proof one AHAHAHAHHAA

im going mad!

well, if it is to be driven by someone as abnormal as you.. why not? laugh.gif tongue.gif
jk! since you're gonna stay with normal colours, might as well just re-spray the original colour lo.. cuz if you change colour = extra costs involved..

although this may sound like a myth, it may possibly give a bad impression when selling your car as re-spraying to other colours, the changes will be reflected in your car grant and that when selling the car, the buyer may think it has been involved in an accident? you'll never know mellow.gif

uhm
the paintshop i got my quote from, knew him for quite sometime already actually, i've friend's cars resprayed there too, its quite good, according to her

but if can choose, of course i will choose something better, as my car will be parked outside, can last longer ma biggrin.gif

oh yeah, if you changed your car's colour before, resale value will be lessen
also, respraying the car before you sell it also will fetch lower price, probably will give others a impression that you're trying to cover something up smile.gif

have a "thicker" layer of clearcoat on top of the paint, and regular maintenance of the car-paint would help a lot if your car is parked outside all the time which is open to the weather's punishment and also the environment's pollution smile.gif

atm i dont have enough moneyflies.gif to do the teflon coating
thats why i need a 'grace period'(ie good paint, or other thingy) for me so save up enough to do the treatment, then i can park outside, and go back to the place for maintenance every 6-8months
