Hi guys, I am a unifi user of 800mbps, and I am a maxis postpaid user.
thought of the benefits of maxis one prime and 4g backup, so I went to maxis centre to register for Maxis Fibre.
I wish to retain my unifi subscription of 800mbps and add maxis fibre to my home
Maxis says that since there is currently an active subscription of maxis fibre in my address, so no BTU will be given. Maxis fibre will be riding on my current Unifi BTU, and running co-currently with unifi fiber
my question is that, anyone having the same situation? will this affect the performance of my unifi?

No it won't.
Maxis n unifi using different vlan id so it won't affected the speed and performance.
So your unifi will using Lan port 1 and ur maxis fibre will be connect to Lan port 2.
For your info fibre optic can deliver max speed till 43Tbps.

I wanted to sign up for Maxis fiber business 100mbps from existing Unifibiz 100. I was told to take up 30mbps first and upgrade to 100mbps upon complete termination of Unifi due to stability issue.

The BTU can handle more than 2Gbps bandwidth
