Asking for the RM3 cancellation fee is applicable for cash transaction bookings & do need some coercion. Consider below :
- Briefly explain the reason which is a new requirement. Amount has been deducted on the driver’s CW, frame it like ‘What can a driver do?’. The driver can only see that amount on ‘Payment’ transit page(s), thus may need to quickly check through from the ‘Drop Off’ page.
- Call CS in a situation whereby the customer is upset & demand thorough explaination. Turn on the speaker & splendidly allow customer service to take place. Useful coz there could be more than 1 person customer. However, it can be mind-boggling for a 3rd party booking.
* If the abovementioned do fail...request CS to cancel the booking.

Things do get nicer with GPay coz it’s cashless. The deduction is made prior & added to the fare subsequently. You may explain why, if ask, by going through the ‘Payment’ transit page(s) for any penalty listing.

There are those who understood the ‘Golden Rules’ & stay within that boundary. Not everyone will tap ‘Pick Up’ without scanning the customer(s) prior before allowing to board. That’s how some learn to appreciate being a ‘No’ person.
