because 1 driver left, another 1 or 2 will join back and replenish the supply. After July they can't do this trick anymore because the supply of drivers certainly will be lesser.

That's why crap launch the bezza rental for daily RM50 to mitigate this issue for upcoming july, to date they have about 1k+ bezza rented out and intend to recruit even more. My friend want to try it out but not committing into new car and hence he opted this rental option, for sure u will get priority because crap don't want u for making losses. The car return got about 20-30% got dent/scratches or bad condition. Mind u the car was just 3 months rental. For sure they lose hell lot of money there. If own car i think drivers will take a good care about it.

I have no idea about the car condition, but little scratches and dent should let it go. If too visible then yes u have to pay for it.

I can tell u most drivers will not pay for it and ask crap forfeit their deposit, then quit permanently.

Ytd while talking to one of the customer, he told me Grab driver quality is deteriorating year after year, he was using Uber/Grab alternatively in the past 3 years, then force to use Grab after the merger, he felt that Grab is lacking of training or system provided to drivers, that's why there is a vast difference of quality between Uber and Grab. This is not the first time i hear that and yet crap did not able to rectify the core issue of their quality. Oh ya forgot to say they still continue ban/warning drivers left and right.

Pickup 8 pax where they ordered 6 seaters. They said other drivers no problem with the pickup. 

iSayman, I pick them up too but gave them a lecture that they should order 2 cars as their two toddlers are 5 feet tall. it is unfair if the drivers get saman, Worse if there is any untoward accidents, insurance maybe voided. Anyway, got sufficient stars to spare at 4.99 but for the benefit of other fellow drivers, got to tell them about law and order enforcement. Most of all, try to timbang rasa with drivers trying to cari makan with RM12 Lembu fares from Fahrenheit red hot lobby at peak hours.   

3 hours later, got the same request with the same family !! When they saw me, I just asked them WHY? I had picked them up once but not this time.

journey only 50km to the airport and took about 45 mins to reach..

then think back of malaysia, grab drivers really like lembu only get peanut 65 ringgit and most journey to and from KLIA is more than 50+km..

only borderline? RM65 fare (RM52 after deduct commission, i.e. what you see in your pocket) for 50+ km to the airport from most places in PJ and northern parts of KL. But no matter how cheap....most drivers don't ever put KLIA in their avoid location list.

FYI we also have our own SkyBUS to the airport. only RM 15 (and RM8 if you are a senior 50+ person) from some very popular shopping malls (1 Utama, Paradigm, KL Sentral).

SARS was a lot more worse and deadlier fatality (up to 50% death rate). I lived in HK back in 2003. We just took precautions like masks and sanitizers.

FYI, you forgot to mention to clean probably the most contaminated item we carry everywhere with us today, our phones....

dont know whether grab purposely adjusted the fare to be lower since they estimate lesser traffic hence we can reach destination much sooner and therefore complete more jobs per hour to cover back the ciput fares..

Its not like grab drivers can choose jobs now. All trips are auto accepted
