Based on my research Allianz, Kurnia is a little bit on the expensive side. Use bjak.my to compare prices among few other insurance providers, then renew online yourself if they allow self-renew on they website. Most of the time, they will give extra rebate, I got extra 10% rebate from MSIG by self-renew.

Mine is MSIG 18k insured, annual ehailing only cost 140+. But the coverage is not as good as Allianz if I'm not mistaken. Renewed last month (sept). It's my first time using MSIG and their add-on coverage like flood, unlimited towing, windscreen is quite cheap too. Take it if you can afford it.

Puspakom always 1 year from the date you passed the test. For insurance you can do both, renew for 1 year or renew to follow puspakom expiry.

For me it will be easier to tally all 3 dates by renewing insurance to follow puspakom expiry (Dec 2021). Just remember to give the insurance's customer service a call and explain before renew the insurance, otherwise renewing online will always be 1 full-year.

Then only renew road tax which automatically will follow both puspakom and insurance expiry, in your case Dec 2021.

*The only problem with this method is I don't know how insurance will calculate your NCD once you renew again on Dec 2021, since it is not yet 1 full year and I dont think NCD will increase 1 tier higher tho.

Once grab register evp under your car plate number, you must renew manually at jpj every year, and can't renew via myeg anymore, unless if you cancel your evp.

Very tedious process.

You can check and compare using bjak.my for free, I'm using MSIG and the annual e-hailing addon cost me less than RM140 for 2015 saga flx. I renew last year oct 2020, dunno the price change already or not

Tips: Once you've done your reseach on bjak.my, self-renew from the official website (if the insurance support it), because some insurance company do provide 10% rebate if you self-renew, MSIG did give me 10% rebate when I renew on their website.

Normally they will email you te annual statement. But last year I didnt received mine and called them to request for one, they will email you the statement later on.

That is the problem with grab driver app, it require so much driver attention and clicks when incoming new job before driver able to start navigating to customer pickup destination. It is very dangerous especially when you're driving during the incoming job.

Once you receive new request, on grab driver app you can touch the arrow icon at right side next to the passenger's pickup/dropoff address and it will auto navigate directly if you're using google maps. But, if you click on the customer's pickup/dropoff address name you will need to click ok on the confirmation popup, so extra step needed.

Waze on the other hand got extra step where after you click arrow icon from grab app, then you need to click "GO" at the waze pin location then "GO NOW" or swipe down the notice after it calculate the fastest route. Actually, grab can skip the click "GO" step, like clicking links below then you just need to click "GO NOW".

The 24.90 is for grab food? Normally grab rides fare will not end with 90cents.
