The best course of action so far is to change the fan.
Change to a nidec ps4 pro fan and also apply a new thermal paste.

Plenty of YouTube tutorials here and I think you can find the PS4 pro fan online.

Having said that while it will get noticeably quieter, it’s still far from a complete silence. It’ll still be very audible during gameplay.

thanks for the advice, will do it once i got the fan thumbup.gif

Noob question, sorry. I bought an OEM Playstation 4 controller 5 months ago for my kid, an OEM one, RM150 from the seller who sold me the Playstation itself.

The ORI one I am using it myself, all good. But now the controlling component (stick) of the OEM already messed up / inaccurate. The f**k??!!! RM150.00!!!

I brought it to the game shop near my house and ask for the fix, RM70.00... Again, the f**k?

I browse the Shopee and saw EXACTLY same as mine, link
https://shopee.com.my/product/481450350/104...73-1637489738.9

RM45.80!!! So cheap meh controller? Which one I should buy for my kid (9 years old) ????

This one or the RM150.00 one, OR straight for ORI? How much is the price of ORI? In One Utama got? Mid Valley? Its not going to break again... Right?

If repair, RM70.00 and if I buy a new one in Shopee, its RM45.00... I dont know what to do. Help me, brothers here. Noob.

If you decided to buy non-original PS4 controller, then do not spend more than RM 60 for it especially if your kids are below 10 year old (pre-teen) as they are unlikely to appreciate the controls.
The RM 150 OEM controller you bought, is scalper price.
Not worth to repair at RM 70 also, better buy the OEM controller from your Shopee link to minimize or average out your losses.

If your budget more than RM 80, you better get 3rd party controllers from known manufacturers such as HORI, etc.

Otherwise, buy Sony original RM249 straight away as you already know what quality to expect from it :

It depends on your AV receiver and your preference on where you want your audio to output to

If your TV has optical out, you can connect your PS4 to your TV HDMI port as usual and then use the TV optical out to output audio to your AV receiver

If you output the PS4 audio from your TV speaker, just HDMI from PS4 to TV will do

About the audio quality, I have tried both optical and HDMI before, and they are acceptable to me, probably if you want to go with High Res audio like Dolby TrueHD or DTS HD-MA, then HDMI it is, again it boils down to the capability of your AV receiver

Guys, are you playing PS4 (non-pro) on 24" or 27" monitor? My 24" monitor blinking continuously for quite some times but very unbearable since yesterday. Which model are you using or any recommendations to buy currently in our market? Thx

BenQ is good for it's eye care feature. Since it's VA panel, I can't say whether the pic color is good (since most people said IPS panel is better). But I feel comfortable with the color on this monitor.

Nope not like cyberpunk for sure. I haven’t played any souls game or bloodborne. So, I don’t understand the hype.
