I'm also sponsoring a child from Thailand.

Does anyone know what to write to the child actually? I try to make my letters more interesting, but apart from dreary topics like 'myself, my family, my friends, my hobbies', I seem to run out of things to talk. Especially when they have restrictions on what to write which I understand, there are times when I want to ask about the child about Thailand but afraid to do so due to political sensitivity etc.

Do any of you send gifts as well? I'm not exactly sure what to send over "that can be shared among other children" as well, other than sweets, etc.

I was under impressioned that World Vision is Christian missionary mission. So means, only Christian should join? Coz definitely Muslim can't right?

Even if they do evangelist to those ppl, I don't see any harm done.
As long as what they teach is to make the person a better person so why not right.
And I'm sure the child will have a say in whether to accept Christianity or not.

By bank draft, cheque of credit card?

I want to sponsor a child but dunno which payment to choose.
If by credit card will it be safe?
Worried about this but it's the easiest form of payment.
