From what I understand, "Add-ons" means you already have a package subscribed before you can buy and use the add-on. That is, it's an option to add onto your existing package.

This link on their differences should be a good reference. I was just looking at it yesterday.

AFAIK, no free basic internet... I think only Best 2016 has it...

Yup, been browsing Digi Community and seen all those rejections to requests to reactivate terminated prepaid lines.

Anyway, you can private message (PM) one of the staff at Digi Community Prepaid Discussions - IMO easier to use than calling them.

From what I understand, Digi will return the number to Maxis once the line is terminated...?

I'd personally PM a Digi staff to see the status of the number and once confirmed returned to Maxis, I'd walk in to a Maxis Center to inquire about the number.

I think this roaming pass is good for those countries where it's a hassle to get their prepaid cards...

Because they don't offer this plan directly, that this plan is only available via change-of-plan from a prepaid account...?

I won't say it's completely wrong target, since it may make the user decide to start using data especially when it's free or unlimited, like watching Youtube.

Then comes one day when user is addicted and there's no free/unlimited package, so have to start subscribing/paying.

Yup, just marketing strategy. I know of a few people who started using data after encountering apps of sorts for various reasons.

That's right. If your number is not registered yet, best to go back to where you bought the card from. Or off to the nearest Digi Store/Center.

Not sure if they'll ask for the card/outer pack from where you removed the SIM card from. There are information printed there that they may want to see.

I'd remove the SIM card only if they ask for it. Normally having the other pack is good enough since the required information is there. Unless they want to see it as some kind of proof, then you remove from your phone?

I'm actually liking what I've seen so far, like not knowing that Digi Prepaid Best 2017 (edited typo from Live) has free basic internet as well. Couldn't see it in the previous version.

But for BoS, there's only 1 offer now, unlike previously when I could see up to 3 choices.

Loading speed's pretty alright, I feel.

Yup, hope they replace F&F later. Oh wait... looks like the credit transfer option for Digi Best can't be found either.

Even my New Best v1 got free basic Internet too, so I'm wondering if it's a bug, actually.

Sorry, the other one isn't Live, but Prepaid Best 2017 which previously didn't have FBI too.
