Do you have VoLTE?
*
Yes I do, problem is there's no VoWIFI / WIFI Calling in the settings, even Digi couldn't solve the issue.

Probably have to wait for a new software update to pop up I guess...

Originally this phone didn't have VoWiFi, but one day Huawei updated the software OTA from EMUI 7 to EMUI 8, then I started seeing VoWiFi.
*
I have a feeling that it needs to be done via software update, cuz technically P10 does support VoWifi too.

Probably have to wait for EMUI 9 update on mine...

Wonder when will Digi collaborate with Huawei for the 5G trial?

Maxis already doing it now...

I have a feeling that we will have 5G earlier than our lovely neighbor this time... brows.gif

Digi's main partner is not Huawei but ZTE.
These days they also started collaborating with Ericsson.

Hope ZTE will speed things up, really admire both Chinese brands when it comes to network stuffs.

just change to other telco, it's year 2019 and this digi still BS with the weekday/weekend split, so called 30gb with 1gb each day not whole day but time limited 12-12, 1-7, bolehland

Isn't that usual gimmick marketing stuff by these telcos?

Btw just use whatever that satisfies you, but personally I think telcos here are not any better to one another.

I do agree that 2G should be shut down, just a waste of resource and hogs the network

Correct me if I'm wrong, but phone nowadays do support at least 3G for SIM 2 right? Huawei has 4G+ for both as well.

And those who still using feature phones with 2G should either get a smartphone or a feature phone that supports 3G/4G.

Does anyone still facing any technical issue with the new app? Any comments for the app? Of course, some may think it's suck but I can't do anything because that's how it will work now. laugh.gif

Any good things or suggestions? I will meet them tomorrow.

Not sure if it's the right team that you will be asking, but, is it ok for you to ask them whether if Digi will partner up with Boost for bill payments (via Boost app) in the near future please?

I will also meet the Marketing team. However, Boost is considered a competitor's product, I doubt they will do it. Moreover, Digi will come out with Happy Card soon. Though that has been quite silent recently..
*
I guess it wouldn't hurt to do a little partnership in this aspect, it benefits the users in the end, and it provides convenience as well.

U Mobile and Yes are competitors with Axiata as well, but yet they partnered up for Boost bill payment. I don't see why Digi can't do the same, it doesn't affect their business, just opening up an alternative method for paying their bills.

My apologies if this has been discussed before in here, but I couldn't find it using the search feature here

Is there any way to extend the ring time? I found out that Digi is way shorter when it comes to ringing...

I do know that I have to disable the voicemail service in order to have longer ring time but is there any way to just simply extend it? I remember there was a way to just extend it by dialing something when I was using Celcom/RedOne.

@reply to post #2208 also.

I bought from a dealer in 2nd floor, IOI City Mall (dealer name is I Century).. the store is digi specialized store i think.

@soonwai, I am a local, probably I dont ask much questions assumed the RRP on pack is RM 8.. thats why i got cut like water fish.
*
Correct me if I'm wrong but...

There's no such thing as "Digi specialized store", a dealer is a dealer, there's always a risk when buying from them.

There are tons of places where you can get your prepaid SIM card with a peace of mind with official RRP, the usual convenience stores (7-11, Mynews etc.), supermarket (like Tesco), Digi Express Store, Digi Store, Digi online website...With so many places around, why went for dealer though?

Digi needs to buck up its network quality and implementation. It has a lot of features but it seems that the technical team is not able to keep up to the demand.

Axiata and Telenor in talks to merge Asian operations

KUALA LUMPUR: Two Asian telco giants — Malaysia-based Axiata Group Bhd and Norwegian Telenor Group — are in talks to merge their operations in Asia.

In terms of geographical presence, Axiata has a wider footprint. While the two mobile service operators both have a presence in Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar, Bangladesh and Pakistan, Axiata also operates in India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Cambodia and Indonesia where Telenor is not present.

The negotiation also involves Axiata’s operations in Cambodia, Indonesia and Sri Lanka, apart from countries where both have a presence, according to sources familiar with the merger talks.

However, the value of the merger is not known as of now.

Why not just wait until 5G launches and announce e sim at the same time?
