Probably need to change my tyres in the next few months so I've shortlisted to this 2.

Anyone tried both?

How's the price like for 235 45 17 for both of them? is the Michelin PS4 more expensive or the F1 A3?

Hmm i was expecting F1 A3 to be cheaper since it's the "underdog" compared to PS4 but ohwell.

F1A3 is still made in Europe as opposed to PS4 already made in Thailand, so difficult for F1A3 to be cheaper. In most comparison reviews though, PS4 in general has the upper hand. F1A5 is coming soon, not sure how it will compare with PS4.

f1a3 is made in germany while the ps4 is made in thailand.so its quite difficult to be cheaper.furthermore the ps4 are more hot selling than the f1a3.noticed most would prefer ps4 over f1a3 comparing among those 2.

Michelin also got very strong branding. Goodyear, 90% people out there will said it is crap due to 95% car in malaysia that use goodyear put a crap lower model. Very2 few I see people use gy eagle f1.

I see honda accord, camry, mercedes benz use goodyear nct5/ excellence while if accord/camry/merc use michelin of course its from primacy/sport series.

Very few use eagle series and even if car owner use it, people will downgrade it, think it is cheapo tyre.

My experience is good year eagle f1 easy "pregnant" when kena pothole. Last time when use a2 3 tyre kena already can only claim 1 piece under warranty. After change to PS2 and PS3 no such problem.

Hmm have used F1D5 until 50+k km and now on F1A2, no issues whatsoever aside from just a bit much chipping on the F1D5 which is similar to PS3/4. I admit though I very seldom hit potholes because I really pay attention to them and try to memorize their exact locations when I see one. I remember once though I hit 1 big new pothole hard with my F1A2 but nothing happened, tires still fine and rims not bent.

Didn’t had a good experience wit both Michelin and Goodyear last time. Was using GY A2 and found out that the Tyre got hairline cracks on sidewalls after 3-4 years of usage.

Michelin PS3 was good but it chipped a lot. Same goes with most models under Michelin.

Bridgestone gave me the least problems (in view of the above problems from the manufacturers).

But that’s just my view on the older models.

I have not tried the latest PS4 and Asy3. only had experience with PS3 and Asy2. Back then, they are equal in term of performance.

But if you compare PS4 & Asy3 reviews, PS4 always come out top in many tests, while Asy3 is trailing behind.
