driving an 8th gen accord 2.4 for 6 years now, still being fully service by honda, absolutely satisfy with the ownership, didn't gave me any problem at all
compare to camry, accord is more exciting to drive, body control is exceptional, handling is quite sharp by D segment standards, but there's a few thing
1) suspension set up is quite hard,i reduce my tire pressure to 2.1 bar(factory spec 2.2 bar) and it helps a lot
2) you'll need to rev the nuts outta this engine to get real power, the vtec kick in at 4200 rpm and thats where the power came in a big way, luckily it comes with paddle shifter which i uses a lot
3) fuel economy is ok for long distance, average 11.5-12.5km/l,city driving is another story..i have other car for that
4) parts are abundant and cheap, just search lazada and mudah for reference, even taobao had lotsa parts for this car but you won't need it much, other than regular services,in this 6 years i only need to change 2 rear wheel bearing which cost me 200 bucks each and that's all
thanks for ur feedback, ive been warned about accord's fuel consumption, glad to hear from an actual owner
accords has more features than camry, but i camry sells for more higher price, was wondering is camry actually that good or just because its TOYOTA
