seem like you got a fried component. how many pieces of ram u have now? try 1 by 1 at different slot. see it will boot or not. hope that help.

why do u get xms in the first place? tighter timing?
currently most value ram has pretty good overclocking headroom (for ddr2). i think better to get 2*1GB ram. |

yep. just change the ratio when oc if you don't want to oc your ram. your A8N use ddr1.

just to make sure, have your really reset your bios? turn off main power, take battery out instead of reset via jumper
