Abomination.

Should have consulted Sonic fans on the design... this just looks weird.

It's like direct to video movie made in early 2000 lol.

The poster alone already make me want to avoid this movie. Look like a movie poster done within less then an hour.

Then there is the trailer , which certainly look like there's a remake of this movie coming in the near distance future. Not that I'll watch this movie anyway.

And the song in the trailer . WTF ? Gangster paradise ? Sonic living in a gangster paradise or what ?

I rather listen to Sonic Underground theme from the 90's



Seriously this movie budget is 90 million but the level of quality from the poster and everything in the trailer with Sonic CGI feels like a movie from the early Millenium of 2000.

The fuck were they thinking ?

yes, that's exactly the first word that came up in my mind when I first saw Sonic in the trailer

No matter how good is Jim Carrey, this movie is gonna be a major flop
Definitely going into top 3 list of worst video game adaptation movie, Mario movie kind of bad IMO

Even my friends that aren't familiar with Sonic thinks he's an abomination

they should have get the designer from Detective Pikachu movie to do a design for Sonic

I'm surprised that there are people who are okay with the trailer. Sigh... I'm so pissed

if this movie was made in 90s,it would make sense. But for today,it checked all the bad things especially plot.

The cartoon was successful enough without any human character.Wheres is knuckle,tail,amy,shadow, etc ?

Why must sonic come to earth from another dimension ?

Hollywood need to realize all this things

Great job! It's a rare move from filmmakers to do this, perhaps it was a lot more "doable" because it's CG Sonic, but well done. This looks right 👏👍

Sonic movie was one of my favourites in the early 00's, so I want to see this movie. Frankly 2019 Pikachu was monotonic and uninteresting, but I hope that Sonic will be better

It was one of my most favourite series in childhood. The posters and pictures look really good with this new movie. Hope, there won't be any problems with scenario and the Sonic movie will be outstanding

overall the movie is ok ..

things i like :
The time scene . always time scene is fascinating to watch lol ..
The easter egg in this movie , from sound (the level finish sound) from the games to the movie shown in this movie . lol got the sanic meme haha ..
the after credits .

things i dont like:
all the good parts already shown in the trailer
the unnecessary plot in the pub

overall the movie is ok .. hope they can do sonic 2 .. want to see how they implement the chaos emerald gems ..

I wonder how much was attributed to the Sonic design fix... what they've done is unprecedented this day and age, and I think (rarely do I say this) we should support them by watching it Looks like a good (but not great movie), so worth a watch I guess.

Jim Carrey was really good, even if skinny Dr. Robotnik. haha.

After-credit scene was a nostalgia kick for me.

hope they can make the iconic eggman robot and sonic goes supersonic and meet robot sonic . man that would be awesome . but i doubt they gonna make this because got human interaction sigh ..

It was thrilling to see Miles Prower aka Tails appeared at the end of the movie. Definitely a sequel is in store.

Hope they bring out more Sonic characters. This movie has the potential to challenge Pokemon

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (2022)

So... long story short... is it good?

I think the human character suffered a little with the introduction is Knuckles (Idris Elba) and Tails (Colleen O'Shaughnessey).

As for the CGI character I love the intro of Knuckles!

The only human character that did not suffer in this, is Dr. Robotnik (Jim Carrey). This character is deviously delicious!!

With all that is said and done, this is a great movie to watch with the whole family (there was a whole roll of giggling kids two row ahead of me).

Ultimate, this movie is aimed at the kiddies!

With the above and as always, my two sen.

Haha still cant believe the first movie was precedented 2 be the pandemic movie and voila we are here in full circle surviving the covid 19 and so happen the second movie out already i only lost 2 family members in 2 years and both are innocent bystanders aka both never leave the house at all

I enjoyed the movie w my kids. This part 2 is a lot better than part 1. Part 3 seems more promising w more characters, n it is expected to be release in 2024
