Hi. Im planning to upgrade my monitor.
Was wondering if 2070 can properly handle a 144hz 1440p monitor.
Or should i stick with 1080p 144hz instead ?

I'm using a 2K monitor on a 1080, reasonable fps but not too high setting on games.
I downloaded BF5, haven't got the chance to play yyet.

RTX 2070 is roughly GTX1080 performance, without RTX turned on, so should be ok for 2k res and 144Hz monitor

Plenty sufficient actually.

Whether or not you get 144+ framerates depends on the game title.

Also you will still get 144hz refresh even if your FPS is below.
