QUOTE(WiLeKiyO @ Dec 10 2018, 03:05 PM) Most countries that do have a winter period will sell wool socks. I find decathlon in other countries to have decent cheap hiking wool socks. Unfortunately Malaysia has really crappy options when it comes to winter wear. If you can, buy the minimum in Malaysia and go overseas to get the rest. |

speaking for exp..
unless u know ur tolerance, it is better to bring multiple layers of thinner material than one thick one.. i was skipping along the river main with just a jacket n t-shirt even though the temp says 5 degrees.. becoz it was a windless day... heat tech is not useful below 5 degrees |

QUOTE(WiLeKiyO @ Dec 10 2018, 12:32 PM) Google layering wear for winter. It is the air between each layer of clothings that traps heat effectively. You need 1 inner layer, 1 or 2 fleece long sleeves and one outer coat, for legs one inner thin and one outer (legs will feel cold) shoes get winter shoes or boots, not sports shoe. Remember your scaff too. You can strip down if you feel too warm, or use heater pad if too cold (those crumble and will generate heat for a few hours). |

QUOTE(OCMAX @ Dec 10 2018, 01:17 PM) Uniqlo HEATTECH compared to jeans are very much different lor. If you wash the base layer Uniqlo HEATTECH too many times. it has holes. Buy some good quality mesh basket and put your heattech clothes in it before put into washing machine, can protect the fiber from damage. Try itI bought more than half a dozen last time. all suffer the same fade. LOL |
